Good for you for at least trying.

They would be throwing away a huge opportunity to not develop that idea further. You'd think they'd be jumping on it asap.

I think they are missing a big window of opportunity here. Can you make your own stuff to sell on Etsy or FB? I am sure there's a large market for this.

That is a great idea! They have alternate cards for the baby kits with the UK/Aussie versions for Mom/Mum so it is possible.

The Hispanic population is one of the fastest growing populations in the world. Seems like a no brainer to me.

I agree that this seems like something that a company would want to jump on. If nothing else, changing the text on the digital format (if they have concerns about supply/demand for a printed version) doesn't seem that complicated.

I mean no disrespect, but perhaps some scrapbookers who live in a more homogenous communities don't realize the diversity in our country that should be celebrated and could point to a profitable business decision as well?

Anyway, I'm not holding my breath for the "2 Moms" and "2 Dads" versions of any scrap product -- some of us will definitely continue to ad lib in our pages.

arelys-my computer is still down but when it is up I know I will have lots of Spanish stuff that will work, like I mentioned in the other thread. I will start playing around with some other stuff I have now to see if I can work with resizing, etc.

Using this post as a reminder to myself to get my laptop fixed!

At least she didn't give you this arrogant, insulting response:

" (when you run your own manufacturing business, you start understanding the “why” behind these type of things)."

Which is exactly what she said to posters on her blog who asked why the delay in the kits which weren't going to show up before Christmas and instead would be well into January.

@scoobers - Ouch! That reply is a little snarky. Surprised she posted that on her blog.

In the context of the post, it doesn't seem as bad. I remember reading it. I like Becky, but I was also one of those who angrily posted on her blog about the delay.

I imagine it'll depend on how many requests they actually receive. Do other companies print in Spanish too?
