I am excited to get to work on it this weekend! I am too making my own kit mostly, I did buy the photo freedom page protectors because I can get them locally. Figured that would keep me up to date if I didn't have to wait for "in stock" items from an online store. I have been really good about journaling a little each night in a notebook and taking my pictures. So excited to have so crafty time this weekend!

I really enjoyed reading everyones' responses. I have finished my title page but I am already behind. I had company for two weeks and then DH left on a business trip. I am going to do Week 1 tonight and then week 2 Saturday night.

I have a few supplies: I am using a WRMK album. It is orange since that is my favorite color. I bought the Photo Freedom page protectors that are identical to Design A. I bought BH's grid cards. I am using Snap by SImple Stories, 6x6 paper pads, echo park and some of embellishments I already have. Of course I need an organizational system for all of this. There is so much I still want to order:

BH page protectors F and H. Are the 3x4 pockets true 3x4?
Simple Stories
My Minds Eye
I recently saw some PL stuff made by Bo Bunny.
The Honey and Blush Project Life Core kits

I don't if I like shopping for PL or doing it more!!!

i'm doing it slightly differently to suit me. I needed something cheap as possible and easy to keep up with. I'm using EP photo freedom page protectors (the ones with 4 4x6 and 4 3x4) and a white AC album that im still waiting on. So far so good im just doing it monthly and putting as much stuff that i have time for and is interesting. That way there is no pressure to try to scrap about nothing. So far i've done one double page spread and am really happy!

I keep forgetting to take photos. My life is pretty boring during the week so I was thinking of just documenting the weekends and a few other random events. The truth is sometimes nothing happens so there is no point in documenting that but I'm fine with that.

THen last night I forgot my camera!! We had cooking classes for the first time and I forgot! So annoyed. But I can photograph other weeks and then just add them retroactively.

Did get my title page and first week done. So that's a plus!

Surprisingly enough I am caught up
I received BH PL cherry edition with design A page protectors for Christmas! I am using a WRMK album in cranberry.
I had an extra daily, weekly, monthly planner I wasn't using so it is now my project life journal
I am trying to keep things as simple as I can
I did the first week by printing my photos at home but I am going to try to upload 2 weeks at a time and have them printed, I just want to see how that will work
Love this project already and so does my friends and family!

Hi all...I have my cover page done and week one started. I have it outlined so know what I want to put where but need to get my photos taken. This week I pretty much forgot to take photos altogether so that's a massive fail for me! Lol

Hi Girls....Another Newbie checking in. I am using supplies I have been collecting since I decided to do this last year. I have a lot of stamps, stickers and papers ready to go. I am using a WRMK binder and page protectors to match.

I haven't had the chance to get any layouts done for my album...hopefully I will get at least two weeks done tomorrow. I am really excited to be doing this!

You can take the girl out of Texas, but you can't take Texas out of the girl.

Another newbie here. I've wanted to do this for a while, but couldn't decide how. I debated using Sn@p binder, but I would have meant using different album for "normal layouts".

Now I'm using 12x12 wrmk album (strawberry), EP Photo Freedom & Sn@p page protectors. Papers are from Sn@p and my own stash. I decided to use all sizes of page protectors and also combine all 12x12 layouts from this year to the album. I am not taking photos daily, but I'm trying to get something from each week.

I started yesterday and it was fun. I am hoping my motivation stays! I don't have printer at home so I probably order pictures once a month or so. I need to keep journaling and making notes each week.

Downsides so far:

The Sn@p 3x4 cards are slightly too big to fit in the BH protectors so I have to cut a sliver off and round the corners.

I have this same problem with EP Photo Freedom protectors. I did trim everything to same size, but it takes time. But I want to do the album in 12x12, so I can't really complain. Waiting for those Sn@p 12x12 protectors...

I also ordered my photos too small. The ones I take with my phone (most of them) aren't 4x6. I had to add a paper strip to make them wide enough. For now on, I'll hopefully remember to order the bigger photo size.

Sarah, could you take a picture of the sign where you are taking classes? If there isn't a sign what about a picture of your cooking utensils or pans, maybe the recipe you used that night. You could add that to your book and journal about starting the class.

I'm still not doing well so I still haven't started my book for this year . So don't have much to add to it, except a few hospital bracelets. I did snap a picture of the board in my hospital room on the first and thought I would add that for my New Years Day entry.
I've watched lots & lots f scrapping videos on You Tube, so thankful for all the scrappers that share their process videos on YT! I've got so many ideas going in my mind, I can't wait to get to scrap again!

So whoever said project life was quicker was a big liar lol I have been working on week 1 for like 3 hours today and am still not finished! I know you can just slide pictures in and whatever, but I just can't get used to that. I am a very busy scrapper in my opinion and use lots of patterned papers and bits here and there. I am loving it so not really complaining, I just will have to learn to get faster as I get more comfortable. Even my 2 pg layouts I normally do don't take this long! HA! At least I am having fun right?

I am all caught up. Put the last two things in from week 2 today. We have such a boring life that it is going to be hard to document what happens week 2 week. I am going to document things the kids are doing, funny sayings from my four year old, school activities, what the weather is like and if we are being REALLY boring maybe something about what is going on in the news or a meal we cooked.

are we having fun yet? I know I am, now that is. I put my core kit aside and started using Citrus Twist and love ow things are coming together.
I am keeping it really super simple by using Ep Style Essentials & Jillibean soupSaples II for titles, Elle's calendars for each of the weeks (highlight the week) and use washi, and I use grid or lined pattern paper for journaling.

Elle's calendars for each of the weeks (highlight the week)

This is what I want to do but don't you have to buy a lot of the calendars? Thanks for the help.
