Hi Gus Gus! How was your Valentines Day? Great I hope. The hubby and I got away for a night at the beginnig of February so that was our Valentines. I have been doing a little shopping here and there for you. I think you'll like what I have picked up so far. Is there anything you would like to add to your list? I don't know about you but I am really looking forward to spring especially since we are headed to the beach over spring break. Hope you have had a fantastic weekend.

Hello Christine, hope all is well. Did you see my note on the Versamark? Let me know.
Did you do anything fun this weekend? I mostly hibernated in the house. I am about to take my daughter out, she just got a new job and need some flats and a couple of new shirts to wear. Maybe I will be able to find a shower gift I need too.
Talk to you soon,

hi SharisBunnyLove!
i'm so sorry i guess i missed seeing your post!
i just went back & found it...
i can't wait to get to know you!
i'm not much of an easter bunny decorator, but i do want to try one of those cadbury eggs since finding out that they have a caramel one! lol!
my valentine ss did buy a lot from my last questionnaire list & i think my easter list was pretty similar since the two ss swaps overlapped & i didn't know what my cupid ss was gonna send me...know what i mean? ummm...i am pretty easy & not too picky....& no, i don't mind duplicates. as u can tell from my questionnaire, i like a lot of manufacturers/companies...and i scrap, stamp & love mixed media! i am starting to love studio calico more now & i have been looking for the old 6x6 classic calico line.
simple stories is still one of my faves...especially the snap life & snap color vibe collections!
i also have been liking echo park & probably most project life type embellies!
i'm planning to start an art journal soon, so i'm keeping an eye out for some stencils...like the ones from prima, donna downey, crafter's workshop, ranger etc...
what are you creating right now? are u into mixed media? do u like making cards? i have been making a lot of cards lately
anyway, have a great week & feel free to ask me anything!

Hey jenada
Hope you had a great weekend. I enjoyed mine with the kids. I even got a little scrapping in and worked on a project that I have had in my mind for a couple of weeks but never got started on. You have not answered me if you have found any new stuff that you might be interested in for your list. I know you have been out shopping!! Well, gotta run. Happy Monday!

Imasecret I've been wondering about you I hope you had a good date night!! I wish my hunny was near to do that. He's in the Navy so he is currently stationed in Italy. So we didn't get a physical date night on Valentines day but I did get lots of surprises from him!! I was surprised big time though by him. Since he lives in Italy, its hard for him to buy things and mail them to me so a lot of what he sends he orders online. Which is perfectly fine with me. Well today when I got home I had 3 boxes waiting for me!! 2 from ProFlowers and 1 from a fruit company. Also I finally got a Skype call with him, its been a week since I saw him on Skype last. We got to talk for 30 minutes I was so happy! He watched me open my gifts, which were 2 vases full of flowers and chocolate covered strawberries! The flowers were a red vase full of roses and another super cute Valentine decorated vase full of stargazer lilies and iris', the lily being my favorite! I can't believe he got me 2 vases of flowers! Chocolate covered strawberries are my favorite too and its taken everything in me not to finish the whole box tonight!! I love love love this man.
My Valentine Treats!
I do have a few questions? What kind of easter treats do you enjoy? And if you had a choice, would you like an easter-themed gift or spring-theme? I hope its ok. And do you like bold colors or more vintage, soft for your chosen theme?
Easter treats I like are jelly beans (not jelly belly), peeps, and cadbury eggs. My colors are more bold I guess. I love turquoise and pink and red and I would go for a spring theme gift. I love flowers, I wear them in my hair a lot or headbands. Also most of my wardrobe consists of dresses so I'm very springy! Thanks for checking in hope your week has started off well! |

Hello again Wren176 it's your Secret Bunny "hopping" in to say hi. I've been gathering up goodies for your swap package, and have a few more questions for you. Hearing about how you like to dye eggs with your kids helped me spot a cute little surprise to include for the younger ones, but what about the older ones? Is there something fun they like to do for Easter? Little games they like to play? Or a special little treat they especially like at Eastertime?
And a question about your scrap supply preferences. What kind of flowers do you like to work with? Flat flowers, dimensional flowers, natural looking or things like polka dots and stripes? Any specific color group? And for the Simple Stories line of products, I know you don't want anything from the Summer Fresh collection, but is there another collection or two you are particularly interested in? Are you only interested in the 12X12 size items? Do you use or want to use any of the Snap items? Is there any kind of new product in the scrap and stamp world that you've been wanting to try?
The last question is about you. I've got your candy preferences and places you enjoy dining. Are there any other little treats you enjoy, not just things to eat or drink maybe? Anything you collect? Do you decorate for Easter or spring? Are there any little things you've been seeing in the stores that are catching your eye?
That's all for now, I'll be working on packing up the things I've already got while I wait for your response. And there are also a few things from your questionnaire I want to go out and look for this week. Respond when you're able, and until then I hope all is well with you and your family.
Bunny out! | |

Good morning to my scrappysecretsis! Thanks for thinking of my little ones that is so kind of you The older children love to bake or make anything crafty LOL. I don't know where they get it....They also like any kind of chocolate or peanut butter candy. They also like the little marshmallow peeps.
I have worked with all types of flowers. I participated in a flower swap not long ago and I'm signed up in one right now. The colors would probably be grays, teals, turquoise, yellow, white, pink and red. Maybe burlap those look pretty neat.
On the paper lines I'm not particular. I do not have a big box store or an LSS closer than 45 miles so I'm not real trendy with papers etc. I have the Simple stories summer fresh collection pack but nothing else from that line. So far I have only scrapped 12 X 12 but I do have a few 6 x 6 paper pads I have been using on layouts and cards. I'm sure whatever you found would be fantastic. I have just discovered the Pebbles Family Ties line and think it is really pretty and bright. I had never even heard of the Pebbles brand before. I don't have any of the Snap collection. I haven't seen anything from Simple stories that I haven't liked. I have just started Project Life. As for something new I'd like to try maybe a white or teal mist. I saw some layouts with those mist on kraft paper and really liked them. I use kraft quite a bit. I have also wanted to try a sheet of the cork to make alphas for the boys layouts. As far as stamps anything that would work for project life or scrapbook layouts would be nice.
I decorate more for spring than Easter. I collect picture frames Lol. I have them all over the house. I love to take pictures and I frame snap shots and keep them all over. I also love candles.
Hope you have a wonderful day. It is bright and sunny here today but they are calling for snow tomorrow! It wont stick though Thanks for being such an awesome SS! Renee

Hi Christine,
The note was the posting before the one you read. I saw the Versamark watermark pads not black and asked if that was what you wanted on your want list? Just wanted to make sure I was looking at right item. I did find some other good stuff for you the other day.
Do you decorate for Easter? I love to, a little Easter, a little just spring. With Easter so early this year it will be mixed with a little St Patties day stuff.
I am in charge of decorating at work too.
Where do you work? You said it was kinda slow on the holiday and I wondered. Our place is usually busier, because people are off and can come. Telling you where I work might reveal too much, right now. Secret.
It is cold and snowing today, how about where you are?
Have a good day, | |

Hey Jillster-It'll be a great week! Not for any particular reason, but sheer willpower will make it great. I had a insanely busy weekend, but it was tons of fun. When my DS was little he had 2 favorite movies, Toy Story and The Great Mouse Detective. He would've watched them all day if I let him. How was your weekend? Did you do anything special? Or buy anything with all the great sales going on? I gotta go, but I'll talk to you soon.

Hello timeforcupud,
Hope your enjoying our lovely rainfall, I know I am. Thank goodness for it as I have been in the blues realizing I have been scammed on the FSOT board & a large amount at that. I was so excited for my Cameo and now I pray Paypal refunds my money soon or I'm out $230 - my largest scrapbook purchase yet. Almost sick thinking about it.
Wishing you a great week! I will be in Pasadena Saturday and immediately thought of you. If you can recommend a LSS I would be ever so happy.
Everyone - hope you are enjoying te swap!

HippetyHop-I'm sorry I haven't replied sooner!! I have been busy helping a friend who has her own business and it's going to be wild here for the next week and a half.
Glad you and your hubby got to go away for a little bit earlier this month!
As far as adding anything else to my list...I honestly haven't shopped for new scrappy stuff in such a long time. I love brighter (NOT neon) colors, orange and pink are my favorite colors to put together-can't do pages for my boys in those colors though I like the vintage look but am beyond clueless on how to make my pages look decent when I try to go with the vintage feel. I am more of a clean line scrapper.
I wish it was baseball season here, that would mean it would be warm and sunny out. HA, so not the story right now. We are under a winter weather advisory thru Friday morning. Some forecasters are saying we can get up to 15 INCHES of snow I hate, hate cold weather! Most likely school will be cancelled for the next two days. Another system is in the works for Monday, too. Bring on the 80's! Umm, yeah, my oldest son is a very competitive baseball player. We will be doing a lot of traveling this summer, ending with a national tournament in South Bend, Indiana.
Sorry to ramble I know I will love what you have chosen for me! Hope you are nice and warm! |

Do you have any changes to your list after getting your Cupid stuff? Having fun looking stuff for the trip you took. It must have been amazing! We went to England on our honeymoon. Said we were going to go back, but haven't made it yet. Have a great rest of your week.

Hello again Shari(maxsmomma)!!!
So how's the weather this week? Hope it is getting better? It has been raining here but not too cold.
I have printed your list and carry it in my purse and have picked up a few things here and there. I just was in San Diego this holiday weekend and was in my favorite LSS and even picked up a few items for you there. Lucky for me there wasn't too much on my list. However, I was lucky enough to have the hubby on a work trip to Chicago this week and he stopped in at Archiver's to pick up a few things for me. I got some things from the new lines Maggie Holmes, Yes Please, and Lucky Charm. So excited as I have not seen it anywhere and am so excited to get it. He gets home tomorrow so I will have all weekend to scrap with my goodies.
The funny thing is I am quite opposite from you and only have girls. I love all the girly colors and rarely use the boy colors and lines.
Hopefully I will have you box ready to go by next week. Hoping to get you an early Easter basket. Any last requests for sweets? I have one really great idea in mind but if you see anything that you are dying for let me know.
Talk to you soon.

Hi Bunnyfor maxsmomma -
The weather has been a little better - a few days ago we had a blizzard and 50 mile an hour winds but that is over now. I often wonder why I live here!! You must live somewhere MUCH nicer!!
I'm jealous you get all that new stuff!! All of those lines are beautiful. I don't have any scrapbook stores by me so I either travel or order online. It's much more fun to touch and see the stuff before I buy it. What a great hubby you have to go and get that for you. My husband and son LOVE when I drag them into Archivers - they manage though.
How old are your girls? Believe me - I much prefer all the cute girly papers!! I still buy some of them - I either sneak a piece in or scrap my nieces. A girl can't go forever without some pink and flowers!! Although I must say the new Boy Crazy from My Mind's Eye is super cute!!
As far as sweets - I like whatever!! Cadbury Eggs rank right up there at Easter time but since my 5 year old loves them I'm sure we will be buying some soon. Anything you pick out will be great.
Do you mostly scrap your girls? Are you a card maker also? I have recently started making cards and really enjoy it. It takes a lot less time than a 12x12 page. How about altered art? Do you do any of that?
Well - enjoy your weekend with your new goodies!! Know that I am jealous haha!! Talk soon ~ Shari

Hello Scrappybunny,
It is so good to hear from you. I have had a completely crazy past two weeks with the holiday, parent/teacher conferences and setting schedules for the next school year, so I understand completely about not finding time to be on this site.
I did look over my list and the only things I need to change is the Eiffel tower stamps and a variety puzzle book (my Valentine Dianna gave me a huge book that it will take me a few months to complete! LOL! and the most precious Eiffel stamp set. I have already made a few cards using it!)
I did try making a wish list here on 2peas but I am not sure how to go back and look at it. But I will honestly be happy with most anything. My girls are scrapping some, so they use a lot of my paper too. I did see a new product the other day that I would like to try...it is called Flower Soft and is some kind of material that you can sprinkle on cards etc to make dimensional type flowers. It looked really cool, but I had left my credit card at home.
My trip was absolutely wonderful; a once in a lifetime adventure that I pray I will get to experience again some day. We are hoping to take a trip to Ireland, Wales and England in a few years. When I start putting that trip together I will let everyone on here know because it doesn't have to be just students traveling with me.
I hope you have a wonderful week.

I hope you are having a great week!! Our weather here has been completely nuts, but we are trudging through it all. I found some cute items this weekend to include in your package. Just wondering, do you have a wishlist here on 2peas?? I noticed some others mention one so I thought you might have one. Is there anything else that you want to include on your list..I thought after the valentine's package you may want to update. Wishing you a great day and hope to hear from you soon,

Hi Petercottontail2 it is cold here, we will be getting snow tomorrow. Brr. I do like jelly beans. As for a stamp I would like some background stamps, I put a couple on wish list, but any would be fine. Or maybe one of a library card. Hmm. Too many choices.
I never made it to Archiver last weekend, weather too yucky, hope to go tomorrow, if not too bad. A little snow I can handle, but ice a whole other story.
Have a great weekend, |

Hi Shannon! Thought I would check in before the weekend gets into full swing! What grade do you teach? I used to be an Aide at a middle school and then an Elementary school before I had to give it up to have more time to help my daughter with a health issue. I loved it
I will note your changes on your list! Are there any fun things your girls are into? The Easter Bunny may have a few things in his basket for them too That is great you get to go back to Europe again. Wales was wonderful, we went there as well.
Have a great weekend! Im off to do some shopping for you

Shari-
Hubby got home last night and guess what? He even got a few things off your list.
My girls are 8 and 5. At first I wanted boys but now I am so glad I have girls. The oldest is a girly girl and wears dresses and high heels every day. The little one is girly but prefers blue and jeggings.
I haven't seen Boy Crazy in person but I will keep my eye out for it.
I just picked up a few treats for you and have one more stop for sweets. I may or may not be going there for me also . Great excuse!
I scrap anything and everything. I do PL for the everyday stuff then scrapbook for fun trying new techniques and stuff. I have not gotten into making cards on a regular basis but always try to make ones for family and stuff.
Hope you have a great weekend.

Scrappybunny,
I am a counselor for grades 5-8. I taught 6th grade history for 3 years before becoming a counselor 2 years ago. My girls enjoy art, dance and spending time at the lake. My son, Dalton, is heading off to college this fall so we are hoping to take a trip out west this summer. We went a couple of years ago to Yellowstone and he wants to go back (and no, I haven't scrapped those pics yet either..LOL!!) Thanks for checking in with me. I hope you have a wonderful weekend.

Wow! You had an amazing Valentine's, especially with your honey so far away. All your treats sounds lovely! And a Skype call? I dont' think a girl can ask for much more.
What part of Italy is he in? Has he been away long? With the our technilogical advances these days, keeping in touch just seems so much better than before.
My V-day was good, haven't really celebrated it these last few years but my DH was with a client late which is totally fine by me so my bestie from high school came out my way & we went to this great martini lounge. Honestly, I had a better time with her catching up than I would have with my honey as he would have been bored out of his mind as trendy places so not his thing. And definitely not martinis whether sweet or not. But it was just like when we were in high school almost 20 years ago! Crazy to be able to say that. When I reflect to "20" years ago, I swear I had to be referring to when I was a toddler but nope. Reality check lol!
Any special plans for the weekend? Scrapping much? I am myself focusing on my Spring garden then a bday party towards the end.
And thanks for the Easter/Spring responses. I am beginnin to shop for those themes and loving what I find everywhere.
Cheers! | |

Hi Wintersparkle fairy, I hope you're staying warm. It's been like spring here for a while, but this coming week it'll be cool enough for sweaters and jackets at night.
The warm weather meant getting a head start on spring gardening. The past two weekends I've been digging dirt, pulling weeds, and planting the things that need to get going as early in the season as possible (mostly tomatoes and sweet peppers, which grow slowly but have to reach maturity before the temperatures get too hot here for the blooms to set). From mid-February through mid-March is when I do the bulk of my preparing and planting for the spring season.

I'm a Secret Bunny just stopping by to check in with my swap sister Wren. I found a cute little container to fill with goodies for your swap and am going to be heading out to the local scrap and stamp shops this coming weekend with list in hand to see what all new things they've gotten in for Spring. I think my shopping basket will be filled with "one for you, one for me". LOL!
