Glitter Girl, I need help!
I bought the Studio Calico Wood Venner States awhile back. I completed a summer vacation travel book and used 3 of the states that we traveled to. But now I have all of these other states left. What can I do with the left over states?

I am not glitter girl but I do have a few suggestions. First you can use the states on any layout that you have photos of family or friends that live out of state. For example aunt helen lives in florida use the florida veneer on her layout. You can also do a layout or several layouts of your dream vacations. Just a few ideas.

Too bad we couldn't do some sort of swap. I didn't buy the wood veneers but bought the SC paper state shapes. I will only use about half of them. Really have no use for the rest, but can always use more Minnesota and Michigan. |

Perhaps you could use them for a patriotic layout (4th of July, Memorial Day, etc.) with a "This great land of ours" type theme. Or, maybe a bucket list layout - places you'd like to see someday.

Do you have kids? Could you make a puzzle or flash cards or a matching game or something?

PolarGreen12,
I can give you Oklahoma. I don't think I will be using it at all.

AnnieBeth24,
Ooh, the bucket list idea is clever. I have a bucket list in one of my smashbooks but I like the layout idea better. So I might try your idea.
Thanks!

Renee,
I can definitely give you Michigan and Minnesota. I don't think I'll be going there anytime soon or at all.

I would use the remaining states to make a map of the entire U.S. and use the map on a layout for 4th July, visit to Wash, DC, school layout, voting/politics layout, etc. You can strategically cover the "blank" spots in the map with a small embellishment, die cut, or part of the title, etc.
