I've done a few, but I'd love to see how she deals with that

Let's say you have a memory you want to scrapbook but NO PHOTOS. You may have some memorabilia, or may not.

How does she does that page??

Glitter Girl, can you help?

I am not glitter girl but I can show you a page I did that had no photos and no supporting memorabilia. I simply scrapped the story and supported it by page design. I made the embellishments myself in this case.

Here's another page where I had the memorabilia of the program. (That was actually a lucky find!) I also made an embellishment for this page that supported the memory of the dress I wore.

They might not be trendy or flashy with the latest products (even when I made them ) but I like them and I think I did a pretty good job supporting the memories.

I'm interested in this too! I've made several, but they always seem to end up looking the same. I think my last couple included a big stamped image in the center or center of the top third of the page, title, journaling cards, and a few embellishments.

For No Photo Pages: I use project life type cards in a grid & put in quotes from Pinterest - I do this type of layout every couple of months now & it is fun & easy & looks great when it's done.

I'm interested in this also!

I'm looking to scrap a few events in yearly albums with no pictures. Major events when we decided not taking pictures but now that a few years have passed we wish we had despite the sadness associated with the event.

That is a great question for Glitter Girl to answer .. and I bet she has a great answer! I landed in Vegas without a camera (forgot to pack it). I decided to just keep all the memorabilia I could find and when I got home, used all of it to make a great "inchie" scrapbook. IN the end it is one of my favourite mini scrapbooks!!

You can see it here on my blog:

PsychoMamaT, that happens all the time, fortunately, we have Google to look for info, images, etc Or just our memory to do some journaling

Again I'm not GlitterGirl and I'm not very creative in my layouts but I've done a lot of no photo pages and they really vary in how I approach them, they are usually really simple and graphic, which is my regular style

I used to do a monthly round up page and never included a photo...

Sometimes I've made really self reflecting pieces, often in moments of doubt and I haven't wanted a picture of myself on it, such as

Sorry if the post seems a little self serving.

My childhood album has quite a few without pictures. I haven't worked on it for a couple of years but below are some of the ones from my gallery.

It seems that I tend to favour bolder papers with bigger prints (although I scrap 8.5x11 for my childhood so that certainly helps with scale), and journalling strips because I use them a lot anyway but they also take up more space than a simple block of text.

If you have memorabilia I would just incude that on the page in the same way I would if it were a photo. I also think I tend to pick my patterned papers more carefully to help tell the story. Some of them are obvious like Santa paper on a Christmas lo, but some of them are more subtle like the blue pp in the washing day lo which feels to me like the sky, or the striped pp in the sewing class lo which looks like ticking fabric.

Dont forget, you can filter the gallery by "no photo", right now there are 3540 pages. Some of them are quite lovely.
