So, since I am known as the "crafty" one of my friends - someone recently asked me if I knew where to get Birch Bark. I don't know what kind of a craft she is doing, but I figured the Peas could help me.

First of all - do any of you know a good place to get it - online, store, etc.? Also, what would this generally be used for?

Please help so I can pass it along to my friend!

Thanks everyone!!

out in the woods.

(but just as a side note in case anyone really does go to do this... don't take it from live trees as it's bad for the tree.)

When I needed a lot of green moss for my wedding I went to a florist for it. I was able to order bulk and get a good cost on it. It might be a place to start looking for birch bark.

I know you can get birch bark paper. It is similar to card stock weight but it is made out of wood. You can use your die cuts with it or your inks and mists. I have some in my stash. I have to get it out and start using it.

Who knew? I thought you had to go out in the woods and find a dead tree.
