I try to take pictures of my Project Life layouts and they always look...not right.

It's hard to not get the shiny look from the page protectors.

Would any of the peas like to share their secrets to taking great pictures? I have very little natural light in my house so I try to take advantage when I can.

You might also try taking it outside on a bright day or a room with lots of natural light and leave your flash off. I am doing mine digitally this year, so I will already have the file on my computer. That makes it much easier to avoid the glare.

I haven't photographed mine yet but I think part of it is indirect natural light. So not in the square of light coming in through the window, but near it.

I saw a blogger (can't remember who) that pulled the cards out and sat them on top of the page protector because she couldn't get rid of the glare.

I too would love advice on this. Photographing layouts is something I still struggle with

Flash is key. So if isn't not bright enough in your house take the book outside. Stay in the shade but with a lot if natural light. World of difference

I find that if I'm a good distance from the layout and then zoom, I don't have any glare.
