In the sneak peeks, Bella Blvd had crocheted hearts that were just to cute! I crochet so I googled crochet hearts and just finished watching a tutorial on youtube on how to do this. I could watch my favorite T.V. show and whip out a dozen, they are so easy to make! That is one embellishment I will be saving my money on for all the other goodies I can't make! How about you any hidden talent you can utilize?

Do you have a link for the video? I'd love to make crocheted hearts while I watch TV. Thanks!

I've made crochet flowers for layouts before, but not hearts - and I have a ton of crochet thread, so I'm definitely going to try these- thanks for sharing

Thanks, those bows look cute and if done in a thinner yarn and smaller hook these would make perfect embellishments! Now off to find a pretty and small flower!

I crochet hearts, flowers, and butterflies for my creations. I have also crocheted a border for a card. Yesterday I did some backstitching with DMC floss on a piece of chipboard for a layout I will post tomorrow. Love that I can use all of my crafty obsessions together!

I am watching the video now, but I am afraid mine would not look like a heart.

Oh sure it will! Just be sure not to think of it as anything until you are completely done. When I first started crocheting butterflies, I thought "how in the world is this going to look like a butterfly" but it did once it was done!

My only talent, somewhat hidden these days, is my ability to write well. Makes journaling easy, but not embellishing so much.

I don't know how to crochet but I have done several cross stitch pieces for special (wedding, memorial) pages. I would love some purple crochet hearts for my late dd wedding pages so I will be watching the sites for that color.

I collect purple/lavender scrappin things to put on her pages because it was her favorite color so even if it is just a brad or gem or flower there is always at least a spot of purple.

I have some small crochet pieces my mom did in the 50s to sew on guest towels that never made it to the towels so I have plans to (maybe) use them (someday )

Make a Wish!

Thanks for the link. I am crocheting as I am watching the Seahawks, and I can't believe how well the heart turned out!! I only have white thread. I might just have to get some red, unless I can find a good way to color them.
