I just used some old old OLD stickers on my PL page.
How do I know they were old? Because I bought them when I used to work at M's...in 2001. Ahem.
But at least I finally used them, right? |

I still have a big binder filled with stickers since my old CM days circa 1996 - 20??  Glad you found use for yours. |

Cool! I just uploaded a page to my blog that I created using Chatterbox Den papers! I finally decided to quit hoarding the stuff!

I'm all for using old supplies!!
I had a tonne of rubbons that I'd been keeping and when I finally found the right product to use them on they had gone all funny and wouldn't rub off properly. So I had to throw them all away. 
I also find that although I only buy things I love, sometimes I go through older supplies and look at things and think 'yuk' So I try to use things when they are new and I still love them.
Shimelle has a great philosophy about using the pretty supplies when they are new and not saving them for the perfect project, because that may never come or you may not like it in a few years time. |

I've used scrap items for later on many LOs and that's why I do not give things away to people who ask for them, I usually buy things for a LO in mind, so give I give the item away I will not have for when I need it. I do not mind giving away an eyelet, brad, flower etc.. but special items bought for a purpose you my not have and I do not care if it takes 8 or 10 years to use it. It will be used! | |

I used some MAMBI letter stickers for my JYC from - wait for it-1999 
I didn't even scrapbook in 1999, so I think they were from my old cardmaking supplies.
And they were still sticky!
I love finally finding the perfect use for something I've had for ages

Yay!!! That's awesome. It's always so gratifying to do so, and unfortunately, it seems like a LOT of us should be doing it more often.

I have never been afraid to use old stuff. In fact, most of my stuff is old. It either works or it doesn't - it has nothing to do with the manufacturer's date. |

I find that a lot of the stuff that did not make it on to scrapbook pages, work great for PL. a lot of things I skipped over for years are now in my PL book and look awesome...who woulda known? |

I love finally finding the perfect use for something I've had for ages
I just used a TON of MAMBI stuff for a challenge layout: pattern papers from an old collection kit, stickers, alphabet stickers and bits and pieces from 3 soft spoken packs. Now, they weren't from 1999 but they were a few years old. It felt good to use them. Don't know why I was hoarding them.
I want to try to use up my stash cuz I probably have enough supplies to last me several decades! | |

Your post reminded me of a page I made a little over 2 years ago. I used some k&co pattern paper from like 1999 (you'll totally remember it when you see it). I remember being super excited about it.

I still have some oooold stickers than I just can't bear to part with. MAMBI. Suzy's Zoo. AW Cute. Frances Meyer. NRN. UGH! Will never use them, I seriously need to think about getting rid of them. And yes, my first years' layouts where just full of sticker sneezes. |

I still have Suzy's Zoo stickers that I think are adorable, but NEVER would use on a page with my current style. Maybe I should let my toddler play with them! |

I don't purge because I like everything I buy and STILL like everything I buy. The only thing that I ever get that I'm not truly in love with is the FEW stacks I have. But that is only because Cat ALWAYS seems to come with DOG for some reason. Some people have both but most people I know have one or the other, not both.

My oldest stash is from 1997. In fact, I'd bet I could still find some Paper Pizzaz books somewhere. I know I pulled them out to get rid of them but never did. They're likely in a pile somewhere.
I'm too much of a "maybe someday" person to get rid of stuff!
