|Posted: 3/6/2013 9:25:49 AM|I am in search of the 7Gypsies Events roller phrase stamp. Is it new or is it an older item. I just came across it and I HAVE to have it!

I love roller stamps ... SOOOO much. My husband laughs at me because it seems every time I shop or order something, a roller stamp is included!

I just bought the smash one. Can't wait to use it. I've borrowed a couple of my friend's photos so I'm going to use the "stolen" phrase on those pages. I also have some pictures in which I'm in various friend's hats. I have a bunch of the older theme roller stamps too. I love them. I think they are a great bang for your buck as well.

I just got my first one last week. I am not really interested in the phrases that it comes with, just the dates. I have to say, I am not really impressed with the quality of the stamp, but I've heard the ones at office supply stores aren't any better, so I figured I'd throw this one in with my Two Peas order. It's the AC Amy Tangerine Ready Set Go collection roller date stamp.

|Posted: 3/6/2013 2:47:04 PM|I brought all of mine out today because I was looking for a phrase. I have 9, so far.
One of them is a Swedish one that I found just the other day, at a Nordic home decor chain! I first saw it on their web site one late evening (you can imagine my delight!) and was practically knocking on their door first thing the next morning. lol! Here's a pic.
Love the decade roller stamp idea from OA. I hope that they will actually make them.
I would love stamps for the '70s, '60s, '50s... those would be perfect for heritage projects! I have a lot of my maternal grandparents' photos from the '40s and onwards.

I have the 7 Gypsies Note to Self. I guess I'm dumb, but what does the "Bitter: Party of One" phrase mean?
I was thinking like a vampire sucking blood would be a party of one, but wouldn't that be Biter, not bitter??? LOL!
I am confused...

joanna to answer your question about ink getting on the edges. I always have a paper towel to clean the surrounding area with my finger wrapped with the towel. Makeup sponges will work, sometimes just your finger.
Karinpea, 7gypsies, do you have a miss print? I have that set

|Posted: 4/7/2013 2:01:07 PM|I've had a thing for roller stamps since Heidi Swapp came out with them around 2005 (??) 7 Gypsies & Colorbok also had some around the same, so my collection has grown since then. My most favorite has to be the 100 year date stamp that Just Rite Stampers gave out in their booth at CHA years ago...love using for layouts with old b & w photos.

(whispers) I have 27 roller stamps. I hang mine on an old revolving stamp carousel.
From Urban Dictionary.
Bitter Party of One:
an individual who sulks in a corner after being caught in an embarrassing moment; someone who has been served and cries about it.
Troy showed up to the party with Meg and his ex-girlfriend Lisa saw them. Now Lisa is having a bitter party of one.
