Apparently feathers(paper)are an upcoming trend. I saw Shimelle use some paper feathers in one of her videos, and Jenni Bowlin is showing feather tags and some paper at CHA. I will have to see some in person before I decide.

I have the SC Wood Veneer feathers and I've had a hard time trying to use them.

I've seen quite a few people use them and it never looks right to me.

I am not sure yet. I can usually make any trend work for me, though. Sometimes it is used in subtle ways, but it is used.

I do. I've liked it since they first started showing up last year, and even before that, when a friend sent me a paper feather embellished pen! I have been wanting to make one, but just haven't actually done so...yet.

I love the way it looks on the projects I have seen but I don't see myself using them. Maybe I might have to try though.

I've really thought about how I would use them and it's just not me. When I see other layouts, they look nice, but I just don't find I can use them well in mine.

I know some cool ones came out last year (or maybe it was last CHA) and I have seen Shimelle use one, but not sure its the trend for me!

I love birds, so I love feathers, but whole papers of feathers aren't my thing. I'd like some feather stamps that are kind of stylized so I could emboss them. I like paper feathers too.

I'm finding them useful coneying the "homey-nesting" as well as the "free-flying-elated".

I can't think of anything I would use them for. I really don't love the look and have no photos that have anything to do with feathers. I'm glad there are folks who love them or all our layouts would start to look similar!

I didn't like them until I saw the new ones by Bella Blvd., and them being used on a couple of layouts (I think you'll have to scroll way down).
Bella Blvd.
I wouldn't stock up on them, but I can see using them on a LO or 2, but the bright colors, not real life feathers.

At first I was not a fan, but now that they have been around for a while. I like them quite a bit. I may not like them in 6 months, but for now I do.
ETA: I don't care for the real ones. Only paper, wood, chipboard, etc.

I didn't think I would like it, but I actually really do - as small embellies or in prints. I'm not sure how I feel about the BIG real looking feathers that people seem to just be covered their pages with and sticking a photo on top.

I have feathers in my 2 floral arrangements, the one on my dining room table and the one on my entertainment center. They're big, black almost boa fuzzy type? They're gorgeous. BUT. There is no way I personally, could pull of feathers in any of my paper crafts.
I think if the right scrapper came along, it would be drop dead gorgeous. I'm thinking shabby scrappers like Melissa Phillips, or cherri'sjubilee.... I bet they could do amazing things w/feathers in their paper crafts.
