One of my least favorite *trends*.

I may not be the same, but that's not important

I could use some but not as liberally as the trendy scrapers are using them

Not feeling the feather trend but I remembered my first card with feathers I submitted here to the gallery.... Christmas Feather Card I think they're good for festive occasions or themes. I like the Jenni Bowlin chipboard ones I could probably paint different colors.

No, if they are faint on the background of a paper, fine. If the design is prominent or an embellishment, no thanks.

as always, it seems I am way to early on trends

I've used real feathers in LOs before - specifically as kind of "designer memorabilia"

But I do like the feather trend, I don't think I will use it a lot, but I feel like especially the paper feather embellishments will be a nice way to add to my eclectic style.

I like the feathers but have never used them on one of my projects.

Saturday I said no. But I had those wood veneer feathers in my stash. So I challenged myself to use them. Here is my layout for challenge 1

turns out I love feathers and need more of that wood veneer - who knew?

I am on the fence with this one.. I don't think I like the traditional colored fluffy ones.. but the paper types are kind of cute.. need to see more examples and the product in person.

I'm not into the feathers. That being said, if I was making a layout with a photo of a bird I might reconsider the feathers.

Maybe fake ones, if I had to, but I'd feel sorry for the birds if they were real (Yes, I'm vegetarian).

There are a lot of trends that I don't think I'll like. Sometimes my opinion stays the same while other times I can't believe it took me so long! I'm still on the fence with the feathers....

Yes, but ONLY on layouts of 'the girls' (my two cats). I have also used a few on layouts about birds.

I have made some handmade feathers out of old hymnals that I made for a swap here on the board. I really liked them. They are in my gallery if any one would like to look. I'm on my phone or I would post. I also received some made out of maps that I liked a lot. I have also seen the stamps in some fun colors Baja blue on cards etc... That I liked.

I'm not really crazy about them & really couldn't see myself using them but I did use them on one page. It was a page with pictures of my Grandma from the 50's. She always dressed so classy and pretty. When I saw the pictures I thought of using feathers, which was a strange thought for me!
I do have to say that I like the paper feathers I'm seeing now a lot more then the real looking feathers.

Love birds, but not sure about just feathers...

I can take em or leave em. I don't think I would buy a pack of feather embelishments but if some came in a pack with other things I would give them a go if I found the right spot for them

I've seen quite a few people use them and it never looks right to me."

ITA! I just don't like them. I have the wooden SC ones (came in a kit)and haven't used them yet and not sure if I will. I wish they would just fly away.
