I thought I had one upstairs. And DH thought I did, too. Problem is, the one I thought I had and the one he thought I had are not the same one. And the one I just dug out of a closet is NOT the one I wanted....

So, here's the deal. I have a nicely operated on shoulder and don't like things that are too heavy. I need one that will hold a good bit and not kill me moving it around.

Also, it needs to fly. Carry on or checked - either way.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!!

Thank you!!

I would go with the Crop In Style XXL. It holds a lot and is easy to manuever. I just make sure not to load it up with more than I can handle.

I just use a regular suitcase and put the papers, stickers, etc in those 12x12 boxes. My tools go in a shoebox sized Rubbermaid box and my trimmer fits along the side of all that.

This Darice bag is the one that looks the most appealing to me. Anyone have it?

I am afraid of the XXL. I am afraid it will be too heavy....

If I had to do it over again, I would not buy the XXL. It is too heavy when full and really hard to wheel around. That Darice bag looks great, the other thing I fly with is just a regular Samsonite wheeled tote that matches my luggage, it's almost the same dimensions as the Darice.

I use a crate on wheels from staples. It's my favorite.

The darice one looks similar to one I got at's pretty lightweight and surprising holds a far it has held up but I only take it back and forth to a friends house...the one from M's I got had a bunch of plastic bins for sorting embellishments which I don't use they are to hard to open!

Why, YES!, I am a princess.

The XXL works great for flying. I just tape a note on top saying to please keep upright. It would have to be checked, won't carry on.

Pack one of your big suitcases and fill that sucker up! I'll be waiting at the gate

The Darice looks very close to one that I purchased @ J's awhile ago now. I love it! It is just right! It is not too big, so I can roll and maneuver it around easily, and pick it up to put in my car. It holds 12 x 12 very well. Mine also came with the detachable Velcro zip Cases that are pictured. They Are really nice and hold border punches especially well.

I'm not familiar with the Darcie brand. I have both the Crop In Style Navigator and the XXL. I also have the M's recolections one....and there is no comparison as to the difference in quality...and the Crop In Style price reflects I'd be curious to see reviews on the Darcie (Besides the few I read on Amazon).

I have the Crop in Style Navigator and it holds quite a lot, is easy to wheel around, and I have taken it on many crops, both local and non-local. It has held up really well, I have had mine for about 10 years and it's still going strong...

I've also had the Navigator for about 10 years and it's still my "go to" bag..I don't know about flying with it but I've had that thing packed to the gills and I can still put it in my car-it does not get too heavy to manage.

I had the XXL for many years and grew to hate it. The thing we pretty heavy when empty and because the inside was black too I would lose stuff in the big black hole.

Fast forward many years and I bought the newest style of the CM daisy rolling tote. I really like it. The inside isn't black (big plus) and it's actually pretty light when empty. I also like that it doesn't have all these little pockets inside and out. It has larger pockets to hold items such as trimmers, etc. Not sure about the flying part though. I would think it'll hold up as well as any other rolling tote.

I have one I got from M's, I don't know the manufacturer but I know they still carry them and they go on sale quite often. I can fill that bag like no other!!! I love it.

I prefer the Navigator or the slightly larger paper studio branded one with the rounded top (Hobby Lobby has them),
because they have handles attached to the sides of the tote, instead of a handle attached to the zippered top.
While loading a tote that had the handle on the zippered top flap, the zipper itself ripped open and the top was flapping free.

Crop In Style has two sizes: a Navigator and a larger Navigator XXL

Hope that made a little sense.

I use a crate on wheels from staples. It's my favorite.

I loved mine so much, I went and bought a second one. The CM tote that I already owned has a slot on the back that slides down over the handle perfectly. I tried to get a second, as I thought the 2 totes with the 2 crates would be perfect for crops. But, the tote was discontinued.

I don't think the crate would be airplane friendly though.
