I *HAD* to get a hex punch after all the craze last year and now I hardly ever see any projects with them.

Just wondering if any other peas are a little sad that this trend is waning.

I really like hexagons and will continue to use it as a geometric staple. I think we'll still see it around, just not is the epic proportions we were seeing it. Before it was called "hexagons," the same pattern was around for years and called "honeycomb."

Can't say I was a huge fan of the shape before, and some of the great stuff out there using it won me over. I still like it, I go easy on trends so I don't OD, I'll still be using it.

I like them as accents or a subtle background thing so I'm okay with all the over the top hexagons fading away...

I was never big on the hexagon thing. It was interesting, and I used some hexagon motifs in a few layouts, but I wasn't over the moon about it.

However, I bought a set of background stamps that contained a hexagon/honeycomb stamp and adore it. I use it all the time. My hubby was watching me work on a layout and commented on the stamp, and I told him my last layout had used it too. It wasn't until I showed him that he noticed. I think I'll continue using it until I'm sick of it.

I've seen a lot of projects in the gallery with hexagons lately. It doesn't look like it's disappearing to me. Hero Arts just released a new stamp set of hexagons as well as a hexagon background stamp. I plan to buy and use that, and to continue cutting hexagons on my Slice to use on cards and pages.

As you can tell from the above, I'll be sad if it disappears, but I'll keep using it regardless.

I was never a big fan of the trend. I had trouble using hexagons because they never looked right on my pages. I just don't think they were my style.
