Have you seen any new releases that you like the look of, but are too bulky for the way you scrap?

I actually really love the look of super-layered embellishments (like the pleated circles that have buttons, or the pinwheels with pearl centers that American Crafts put out), but I just can't see using it on a scrapbook page - my albums would be so thick! But I still own several.

Is there anything you like (and might even buy) that you wouldn't use in your albums?

I have no problem using chunky embellishments on a page. I just don't use them on every single page.

I liked the pinwheels when they came out... I don't like bulky pages so I usually limit those sort of embellishments to cards or gift bags etc...

The only one that is hard (but won't stop me ) is putting flair buttons in the small PL pockets. I have broken 2 protectors already

The pinwheels. They are cute but too bulky for me.

I'm with you. I LOVE the heavily layered embellishments and I would really like to use some of the bottle caps and flair but I'm afraid they'd tear through my page protectors and dent the facing pages. I also like interactive pieces and hidden text but don't see how they'd work with protectors unless I do a lot of creative cutting.

Clothes pins. Even the mini ones are hard on page protectors.

I love the Websters and Prima embellies but I have never used them for this reason. They are my style for other things, just not in my albums.

I don't like bulky pages. But I will use bulky items on a card or tag.

I agree with the clothes pins. They are really cute, but too thick for me to use easily.

Clothespins. I have never tried using them, but they seem a little bulky to me. ????

I've never met an embellishment that was too bulky. I don't like anything flat!

I use all kinds of stuff that's thicker than even the chunkiest scrapbook product - dollhouse miniatures, little toys, Christmas ornaments.

Most of the above - I like the look but I don't like my pages to be too bulky. It seems that it really messes up your page protectors and could damage other pages and just not worth it to me. I like a little depth though.

I don't mind some bulky embellishments, but those clothes pins are just too big. They would be great for home decor projects though.

I just had to have some of the Prima and MF resins, park bench, bird bath, windows, shutters, etc....thou i've yet to make a page with them. One of these days, I will make one of those 5 lb heavily embellished pages...but i'll prolly have to put it in a shadowbox instead of an album!

Those pinwheels from AC are pretty bulky I don't think it would really make a difference on a 12x12 LO stored in a binder but when making mini albums they really bulk up the album!

Clothespins and really heavily layered flowers. I used a few of the latter in my wedding album and those pages take up a huge amount of space. Other than those things I'm pretty much game for layers.
