|Posted: 1/13/2013 12:17:41 AM|I always bought 12 by 12 paper before. Now, I make more cards than layouts, and am always using the 6 by 6 paper pads. ( Maybe I just don't want to cut up the pretty 12 by 12 paper..)
What sized paper do you use most?

12 x 12 and I have no problem cutting into any more. It took me a while to get to this point though.

I buy and use alot more 12x12, but I have started buying the 6x6 pads this last year to get smaller prints on my 12x12 layouts. I love ALL paper.

Even though I'm a card maker, I use more 12x12 because I think that the print is cleaner on the larger size papers. I'd prefer to use the 6x6 though.

12 x 12 mainly but I have learned to not be afraid to hack it into much smaller pieces!
I do love the 6 x 6 now that I have learned to incorporate it into my larger layouts though.

I mostly use 12x12 for scrapping and 6x6 for cards, but I do use any size paper for anything.
In the UK we get a lot of 8x8 too, which is useful for larger cards, which are a bit of a trend here at the moment.

|Posted: 1/13/2013 1:00:46 AM|I use and buy mostly 12x12, but like a lot of other peas here, I started buying more 6x6 pads last year. I did it because I thought I would use it for PL but never started. I started digging into them for cards though. They work very well for that purpose.

I usually use 12x12 for scrapbook pages and 6x6 for cards. But sometimes if buy 12x12 with the intention of using it for cards I cut it up into smaller pieces straight away otherwise I save it for a layout that doesn't always happen.

I use 12x12 the most, but I'd have a hard time living without 6x6. I use it a lot in layers or with the Cricut or for cards.

12x12. I bought several 6x6's last year, but I have a hard time using the 6x6 pads. Plus often there are some patterns I don't care for. I've decided to stick with 12x12s for now.

12x12 by far. I have a few 6x6 a pads from a few years ago and I just ordered Crate Papers Sleigh Ride pad for some holiday pictures. I'll probably have about 3 or 4 Christmas related layouts and I wanted a variety of patterns without buying so many larger sheets. Fingers crossed this plan works...LOL

my preference is about 75% 12x12 and 25% 8x8 or 6x6
I am starting to embrace the smaller pads for collections that I like, but not enough to pony up that much cash for the full sized collection. 12x12 still gets me more often than not though.
|Posted: 1/14/2013 4:51:23 PM|
Most of my LOs are 8x8 so I can get away with either - 12x12s I cut down, and 6x6s I mat... I like the 6x6 for cards, and because I get to try out a set of colours and patterns I might not otherwise because they're not as expensive... Only problem I have is that sometimes the scale of the patterns is too small, makes the LO look too busy, so those get used for cards or embellishments... I like them for PL style page protectors too...

For some reason, 12x12 is just too much space for me. Weird.

For card making 6x6 because the companies adjust the patterns for the smaller size and it looks better on a card IMO.
