Ancient Ancestor of Pea

So-- I can always count on my grown son to be one of the few people to purchase me scrappy stuff for a holiday. I usually have a little list in case someone needs suggestions.
Well last Christmas I had a few scrappy things to include Page Protectors, Basic Grey Paper, And a Tim Holtz ink pad.
On xmas morning I opened a box that had 8.5 x 11 page protectors, 12x12 page protectors, a ream of GRAY CARDSTOCK and DCWV garden party.
Being the gracious person that I am I thanked him and gave him a big hug. He said the gray paper was dreary so he thought he would throw in the Garden Party Paper for happier layouts! lol Get it Basic Grey vs Basic Gray. I figured it was not worth a lesson on manufacturers better to just be thankful that he gets his silly ol Mom.
Anyone else get a scrappy gift with a story?? ohhh and by the way anyone need any Gray paper I got about 50 sheets!
luv my son

I love the fact that he took the the time to buy you a GIFT....not a gift card...it is heartwarming!! In this time of taking 2 minutes to purchase a gift card...I appreciate all family members who actually go shopping and buy a gift!!

And don't y'all wish scrappers could "register" as craft stores like brides do at department stores? Seriously, why haven't craft stores implemented this yet?
