I was a thickers virgin until recently. I ordered a bunch from a couple different sites.I bought all fabric, felt, and velvet ones. have no interest in the foam ones, and I have SO many chipboard letters already. I do have an order in for 3 sets of woodgrain thickers, however.
I also am waiting to get an order that contains the full set of Dylusions spray inks, and Ranger Colorwash sprays. Those will be the first mists I have ever bought. I have made some of my own shimmer mists, however. I figure if i want to add glimmer, I can add some of my mist to a mini mister, and add perfect pearls, or water to lighten the color. The Mister Hueys look interesting, but you only get one ounce in the bottle, and they are more expensive too, so not getting them. Dylusions is coming out with a white spray at CHA.
I plan to use my sprays to get a droplet/mist spray look, rather than just to color something. I can use my distress stains to just glob on color. I really want the splattered/ sprayed/ droplet look. Or I will use them with stencils or masks.
I just recently bought a few washi tapes. They are ok, but not that exciting, LOL! I do like the wood veneers, and have some more on order.
One thing I do not care for is rub-ons. I would rather buy a stamp, and be able to use it multiple times.

Never bought rub-ons, but they are not popular anymore anyway.
I've never bought Thickers. It's so easy to cut titles with my Cricut and SCAL or the gypsy.
No kit subscription, but I have bought a few individually.

Mists or wood veneers. And I know I will not be buying feathers....just don't know what to do with them so they don't over power the photos.
Sometimes you have to believe before you are able to see......
|Posted: 1/14/2013 10:43:35 AM|Copics (I went with Prismacolor pencils for the small amount of coloring I plan on doing)
Kit clubs (thou I do purchase individual kits, I just like purchasing the ones I know I'll use)
No Smash (besides date stamp and washi)

What a fun thread! Items I've never bought or used:
- Copics- too much work and too much $
- Kit clubs - I am just too picky and shopping for my own stuff is part of the fun!
- Feathers - I am not sure these fit my taste or style.
I am sure there are more but I just can't think of them.

Are feathers in? I guess I am out of the loop on those. What the heck do you do with feathers?
I haven't bought:
Project Life (I don't even know what that is except I hear you take a picture everyday and scrapbook it??)
Washi (although I recently received three of them from the OA santa stuff)
Club Kits (I have bought single ones, but never 'joined' a club
A lot of the different type inks for embossing and whatever... all that scares me.. lol..
|Posted: 1/14/2013 11:14:54 AM|
I have not bought:
*an ATG gun
*a Cameo(I still have and use my Cricut Expression)
*Hambly overlays...and now I wish I had!
*zippers? not for LOs in my book
I can't think of anything else I don't have!

Washi tape or wood veneers. And only two sets of Thickers, one of those at Big Lots. Well three if you count the other pack I bought at BL that is Christmas and winter shapes not letters.
Also no diecutting machines, or Copics and only one clubkit from a site that didn't require subscriptions. No feathers either, although I would have bought some of those recently for a layout about birds, but my LSS only had them in ugly colors, pink, purple and lime green.

|Posted: 1/14/2013 11:43:34 AM|wood veneers. I like the look of them, but I think I wouldn't end up using them, just like my huge stash of chipboard shapes (that I should just probably recycle )
