I guess I'm pretty fast about an hour per layout. I try to just go with it. Sometimes I do have to walk away from a layout for a day.

I am very slow. I always take too much time looking for what I think the right PP and embellishments to use. I also watch movies and tv while I scrap, so that might slow me down just as well.

I am a very fast scrapper. I scrapped yesterday for 6 hours and got 17 12x12 layouts done. The Sat before I scrapped for 10 hours but did alot more socializing and got 13 layouts done.

Sometimes my layouts don't have much if any journalling. But I journal right then; I don't put it off for later unless I need to check on some details.

I use lots of premade embellies and silouette die cuts. I use alot of patterned paper. Sometimes I use stickles or something but not too often.
EVen those I apply the stickles, put it aside to dry and move along.

I have way too many pics I want to scrap to fuss around.

Thinking about how slow some most people seem to be gives me anxiety. I would go nuts taking that long on a layout. It is just not me to putz and futz around.

I saw a lady at the crop I went to yesterday; I have not seen pages like hers since probably 2001; cardstock that doesn't coordinate, some stickers cut up in to small pieces floating on the page, and photos cut into strange, handcut shapes. It was taking her hours to put this together. I wanted to run over there, move stuff around, mat and pop dot some of those stickers, mat some pictures and get them arranged on the page. It literally made me nuts. I had to stay away and sit in my own little corner.

Another lady had an entire album of premade pages, really nice, and no pictures to go on the premade mats. So she was trying to find pictures to go on the mats, very unsuccessfully. I would have pulled those mats off and turned them to fit my pics. But she just could not visualize that.

Very obviously, people are very very different when it comes to this particular hobby! I wonder if cake decorators find that to be true as well.

My choice is to not take it personally - people have opinions. Particularly people here.-Peabay 12/29/11

For me it just depends, sometimes I'm fast and sometimes I just take my own sweet time, no constraints and it might take me hours. Either way I'm fine with how I do it.
