I love the color combo and your sample card. I was at the craft store today and noticed that the Valentine day papers frequently had blue in them. So you are very on trend too!

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome back. I'm glad to hear there is interest in continuing the color challenges. I enjoy doing them and they push me too to try different combinations. I'm hoping to bring a few more 'sophisticated' color combos going forward.

Ditto on Heidi's piece. Nicely done.
Mine's coming along. Teal is proving to be the 'sticky'. I want to see if I can find a good one to use on the piece. The other colors are no problem.
I'm with you on 'sophisticated' color combos, Marshia. I realize that they aren't always easy if we don't have a particular color, but they're an interesting challenge. One blessing for me is having a large box of crayons. |

I have uploaded my Color Challenge card #12. I really liked the color combination. Had a problem finding my "Love" stamps, and finally found this little one - but it is hiding from me know.
Since most of my cards are made for OWH and the deadline for Valentine cards has passed, I only used the "Love" so that it would be a Love Card thoughtout the year. Hope that will be OK. It could be a Valentine card as well.

Thanks Marshia for a great color challenge. I bought a new teal metallic ink pad before Christmas and was exciting about trying it with this challenge. I had some bo bunny paper that matched but when I checked the paper today it is called turquoise. It drives me crazy not to know what a color name speifically means. Other industries clearly meet color standards and it would be so helpful particularly when we order online. Anyways that put aside I had fun playing your challenge...thanks

I loved this color challenge. I made two cards that met the criteria.
So glad your back Eager, color challenges are my favorite!
I have no idea why my pics are coming out so big and I had trouble with the lighting since I took these at night . In fact, my kraft cardstock looks a little greenish!?! I may try and redo my pics tomorrow if we get some sunshine.

Hooray! I made the deadline!
My entry is a Feb. tag I sent to Marshia. I also worked to use the color scheme (teal/blue, brown, pink/red) & valentine requirements for Marshia's challenge.
This was lots of 'fun'!

Does this challenge run through the end of today (1/28)? I probably won't get mine done until this evening. I really like the color combo for a Valentine card, so I will still make one even if I don't get it uploaded in time for the challenge.
