Ok, so I'm doing PL this year and planning to put my pictures together from 2009 using a PL core kit. I bought Cobalt to use now & was planning on getting Amber or Seafoam for 2009. Well.....now that I've seen the new kits, I like all of them better than Amber or Seafoam. I don't really want to wait until May to get started. What's a girl to do? Plus, after I finish 2009, I will be caught up so it's not like I'll use a bunch more core kits. I'm assuming that she will come out with more & more colors each year. | |

I would wait for the new kits, they are so perty . And you might regret waiting. HTH | |

I am in the midst of catching up on months of PL, just posted about it on my blog yesterday and today. I don't recommend the big catch up if you don't have to! I am able to catch up on the photos and ephemera, but I know I'm missing the smaller details that I just can't remember after so many weeks.
If you are motivated to do it now, do it now! Use your stash or find another solution. Don't sacrifice the stories or the spirit of the project for the chance for matching pages. Get the kit when it's available later in the year.

You can go ahead and start getting pic's in and use postie notes for temp journaling, don't know if you have your journaling in a notebook, journal, date book, but if you do just cut your notes and tape to the outside of the page protector to add to the cards when they come.
I got Amber, my first PL kit and I was disappointed with the colors so I am going to order one of the new ones, maybe Jade, maybe Midnight.....maybe | |
