I was looking for some advice in doing PL on a smaller scale this year. I like the new Snap page protectors, but their albums look to be cardboard to me. Is that right? Do these protectors fit into any other albums - perhaps a standard 8.5 x 11 inches? I'd appreciate any input.
Also, does anybody know if the new PL trays fit inside the Iris 12 x 12 plastic storage boxes with the flip tops or the two pieces boxes that Archivers sells?

Have you seen the new mini albums Becky Higgins is releasing in May? They might be perfect for you - if you can wait until then.

I did see those and that's what got me started on the idea, but the pages are sewn in her new albums. I don't like those kind of albums. I want 3 ring or even post albums, so that I can determine how many pages are included.
Thanks for the input.

If you want to see some inspiration on this, check out gsy's gallery. She uses baseball card sleeves and they look great. I scrap 8.5x11 and I've used them in my scrapbook albums with great success.
Just note that the pockets are 2.5 x 3.5 inches, not the 3x4 and 4x6 inches of the project life pockets.
Sn@p also has 6x8 pocketed page protectors, but I don't know if they fit in regular albums (I'd love an answer to this if anyone knows!). It might be possible to mix the two in a album/binder.

I snap albums are coming out in a leather version soon. Perhaps you could buy the sleves now and wait for the album?
Or, I think the snap albums are made with the view that you decorate them. Perhaps you could paint and decorate an album cover to make it your own
