I think I'd use a good solid layer of ATG, or a thin layer of something like Aileen's Tacky Glue.

Can you sew it on? Or maybe glue dots. ATG won't work

Pretty sure I used my ATG and it held just fine. I think I also taped it on the back because I wrapped it around the page.

Why won't ATG hold burlap? I've adhered other fabrics with it and had no problems with it not staying stuck.

I've used Scor Tape with good results. To me, it's got a stronger hold than ATG tape.

I always use glossy accents. Yes, it shows so I put it in a place that there will be something over it. I also sew it down. Love both and both ways hold very securely.

I've used my ATG and ten stapled the edges where it wrapped around.

I'd try something decorative like eyelets or staples.

I haven't found any adhesive that works, so I use strategically placed brads. Then I hammer them, a la Tim Holtz style to distress them a bit. I looooooove burlap, love it.

Here are a few of mine from my gallery. I love to use scraps so a lot of these are small pieces, and two are on cards.

Thanks, Identical triplets: Your use of burlap is so pretty. I don't know as I would put it on a page but would totally use it for home decor.

I grab any I find when I am rummaging or hitting Goodwills, etc. What's more fun than finding it, lol...

Thank you! I have purchased it from several places:

White Burlap from Fabric.com

Florida Sand Burlap from Fabric.com

Natural Jute Burlap Riboon from Save on Crafts

Hope that helps!

Eeks, I was looking for my itop squeezer thing, and I came across some Burlap I had stashed away. This is the perfect thread!

I still haven't found my itop doowhoppie yet, and I had some great ideas for it!

I guess I'll be playing with my burlap tomorrow!

I used glue dots. It worked great.

I made a couple of zoo layouts with burlap and they are still some of my favorite layouts. The old BoBunny zoo paper looks awesome with burlap.

Glue sticks work just fine. I like to use it for framing. Here's a few examples:

Sounds like the Tiny Attacher would be great for this. I use that thing for wood veneer and I'd guess the burlap is actually thinner?

Glue dots--they hold anything. I prefer the homemade ones made with Tack-it-all-Over. Love those!
