I am having a crop for scrap booking and card making next sat,,the girls are novices but I wanted to have some make and take projects for them also.
We will be making a little desk calendar with coasters and large heavy clips, make some small banners on toothpicks, a post it note holder, and some valentines using the cricut.
Then scrap booking help for the girls just getting started.
We are having a brunch with dishes and baked goods (hubby offered to cook and serve!) some of the girls will also bring some goodies. Mimosas and juice, tea and coffee are also being offered.
I just hope the weather holds up and I have seating for 9 in my craft room. All and all I think this will work out just fine, and I have goodie bags to give out.

I have 3 banquet tables and a small table for 2, then if needed a folding card table too.
My room is like 2 bedrooms together to form a large rectangle room.
I am also having extra chairs as needed.
Food stuff will be downstairs in our country sized kitchen. | |

Sounds like a lot of make and takes. Am wondering if you should scale that back and go with the "less is more" strategy -- am thinking they might be overwhelmed with it all. | |

I am having a lot of the projects "started" ie cut papers so most of the projects are little "kits" to assemble.
The Valentines are going to be very simple and some will be cut with the cricut and just adhered to white card stock base, maybe stamping sentiments.
The girls are very eager to make more the valentines than scrapbook so it's more of a play day for hands on the cricut and glitter. | |
