|Posted: 1/20/2013 7:48:51 PM|I am making an album for a friends baby shower - of course I have no photos, but I need some suggestions for common pages in a baby album- I have a friends and family section, a welcome baby page, a grandparents page- but what else would be some common pages in a baby album (I have no kids so I have no idea- haha!!) thanks in advance for the help!! ps all the layouts I have so far have little blank sheets of paper that tell her what size photos to put where as she is not a scrapbooker - which is why I am making the album to begin with because she always loves looking at mine- I know she will truly appreciate it so I want it to be perfect!!

I have a baby album in my gallery that might help a little.
Most baby books I have seen have firsts...first bath, first visitors, first solid food, first steps...

Big Picture Classes has a self-paced class for $10 called Baby's First Year. I made a gift album based on this class and loved it.

The baby books I made always had a page for each month, the Mom's all said they appreciated that, cause it allowed them to document their stats and such every month. Good luck!

I would include a page for ultrasound pictures & the baby's room.

Mommy and me
Daddy and me
Love notes from mommy/daddy (I did gatefold for hidden journaling and tied with ribbon)
Welcome world..with place for vital statistics
Name page..with meaning and why that name was chosen
Siblings and baby (if applicable)
Watch me grow (monthly pages or half pages for small pic and firsts/statistics)...also suggest to her to take a pic around the same time every month with the same stuffed animal..it is a great way to document just how much the baby has really grown as you see comparison
I have done these pages before and the mothers liked them.....good luck! I hate making pages without the picture!
