After several years of use, my desktop computer recently tanked on me. Now, my favorite Canon Pixma photo printer decided to do the same thing. So tell me, what do you use for a printer and why? What do you love? What do you hate?

Can't wait to hear!

I'll be watching this tread too as I am getting ready to purchase a new printer. I'm thinking of the Epson Artisan so that I can print great photos but still be able to use it for printing full size documents. Looking forward to hearing what others have to say.

I my Epson Artisan 837. It does a wonderful job of printing photos, plus it scans, copies, and does regular printing.

I have an Epson Artisan 1430 as well as a charm. Both print pics beautifully!

The 1430 does tend to be a bit if an ink hog so I got the charm to print my 4x6 and smaller prints. Much more economical. I do love being able to print odd size photos though 6x12 are my favorite!

I just did this dance as well! I ended up with the HP Photosmart 7520 and I couldn't be more pleased! I love it. HP has 3 or 4 Photosmart printers and they have a page on their website that you can compare all of their photo printers together. It was helpful. I got $50 off the 7520, so spent $150.

We just got an HP wireless PhotoSmart 5520. It prints really well, and I can print directly from my iPhone, my tablet, and my laptop.
