We're about 3 weeks away from the start (Feb 9) of another gloriously stamp-crafty party, this is your chance to chat about & more...
We have some StamPeas who already know what they'll be offering during the party. And Daria will soon be posting her 'threads'.
So... let's use this thread to chat about stuff we'd like to have @ this year's WF--oldies & new alike.
I'd like to see even more party challenges that start @ the party, but have on-going possibilities.
I'd also like to see challenges that have multiple hosts.
Ditto collaboration on entries to some challenges.

Our board has been doing these fests for just long enough to establish some traditions, but we continue to push the envelope when it comes to playing with our stamps & creativity.

I have my challenge ready, but not revealing it right now AND my Bingo words ready! Now to remember to pack the Bingo words and laptop to take with me on the last weekend when I go stamping with friends!

I like the Stampeas Jingle!
I always look forward to Bingo. I have a challenge ready, it's not too complicated, I just need to prepare a sample.
Personally, I love technique challenges (hopefully for which I have the supplies already!) but I would be open to whatever a potential challenge host wants to offer!

I've got a color challenge that I plan to host, as well as *maybe* a technique challenge. I want to try the technique out myself first before I decide to host.

I will be hosting a challenge- stamping card challenge and will allow combining of my challenge w/ others in honor of Daniel. He wants collaboration, so I can get on board with that. I can also get my thinking cap on and think of a few party games. | |

How about a drive-by card sketch challenge. A card sketch is shared for say 1-2 hours and the 1st person who completes a sketch is named Challenge Winner.
Have you Ever Chatty Game- Ask participants to Answer the question "Have you ever...?" then post a question of your own. We could keep it strictly stamping/scrapping related.
Crazy Card Sentiment or Quote Challenge- Give participants a theme like b-day and see what the craziest sentiment we can come up with would be.

This is my first time visiting on the stamping boards, but Winterfest sounds like just what I need. I haven't stamped in about eight years, but just picked it back up. I feel so out of the loop that I'm not even sure where to begin. This may help get my creative juices (and crafty confidence) back up. I look forward to joining everyone at Winterfest. | |
