Why can't I share fb posts on my iPad?

I predominately use my iPad when I am on Facebook. I just realized that I don't have a share option, on any posts. Is that common when using the app? I am signing on to my computer now to see if it is different there.

The app sucks. I prefer to just use Safari to do most things on FB, works much better.

If I want to share something I have to go to Facebook through the web browser and
not the app.

I can "share" photos and posts via the app. The last update to the FB app a couple weeks ago now allows this. Do an update and it should work.
