We have a new one opening up in late March in my area. It seems pretty cool and I'm excited about it. Any reviews? |

I loved Sprouts! There was one in Southlake, TX that we shopped at when we lived in the D/FW area.
It was small with a lot of organic items. We bought all of our fruits and vegetables at Sprouts and the rest of our groceries at Krogers or Costco.
They have a weekly ad that starts on Wednesday. Their produce, in many cases, was actually cheaper than Krogers and a far better quality, too.
It was well worth the extra stop to shop there (esp. for the ad items). Sprouts is one of the things I miss most about Texas.

On Wednesday you get double savings...using prior week ads and new week. The produce is great.

Ditto to what everyone else has said.
Plus - They run great deals on meat. For example, 40% all red meat. I especially like their chicken.

Sprouts is awesome! I shop there every week.
Their produce is very cheap. I never buy produce at the bigger grocery stores anymore. They carry a lot of local products too. Our Sprouts carries amazing tortillas, breads, hummus, honey etc all made locally.

I know one opened here but I have yet to check it out. For those in San Jose, it is located at Branham and Almaden in the old Orchard Supply. |

I love that they sell spices, baking ingredients, candy and other loose items in a serve yourself style. I prefer to buy my cooking spices and dried herbs there because I don't have to buy too much.

We have one here and like them but I have to say I was disappointed in how few organic items they actually carry since they are supposed to be a health food store. I do buy my produce but ours like I said doesn't carry a lot of organics. I also tried their organic milk in the gallon container more than once and had to return it as it was already sour and then they tried to blame my refrigerator - sorry my fridge is fine never had a problem but that - they did refund the money. I just buy it in the half gallon size and haven't had a problem with it. Some things there are great and others are way over priced. I do love their produce just wish they carried more organics. Their bulk section can be fun. |

LOVE LOVE LOVE Sprouts! I went last night and got a ton of produce for under $20. Their sales are great, and the quality of the produce is equal to what you'd find in an upscale grocery store! |

Our Sunflower Market got turned into a Sprouts recently. The prices have gone up since then, they've eliminated some products I needed to get there.
Overall, their prices are still better than the other grocery stores on produce and bin items. I don't know about the organic/gluten-free prices, but they sure have a lot! I love their vitamin/supplement/homeopathic section- so much to choose from, and the employees are always very helpful. |

Sprouts history
My mom has been shopping at first Boney's, the Henry's. When she moved to Arizona she found Sprouts, later to find out it was part of the family. So my family has been shopping with Boney's, Henry's, Sprouts since the early 60's
We only just recently had a Sprouts open in our area. I've been doing some of my shopping there and I've over all been pleased. We have enjoyed the stuffed chicken breasts, the sausage ( which tthey make on site)and of course the produce.
My regular grocery store closed last fall and though they did replace it it was with a store that is more of a warehouse and carries fewer of the items I regularly buy. So I have to have a field trip to a grocery store to get what I'm used to, 20 minutes this way or that. Sprouts is within that distance so I often go after church.

In addition to the things already mentioned, their sausage (chicken and pork) is amazing. The chicken apple sausage is a staple in our house. They also make a great meatloaf that is very reasonably priced.
Another thing we love about Sprouts is their 25% off vitamin and supplement sale. You can always save an additional 10% on your vitamins if you spend over $100, which translates to pretty significant savings if you buy during the sale. We always use this as an opportunity to stock up.

I love Sprouts. I usually buy produce, healthy snacks, granola, and nut/fruit bars. They also have a good wine selection and vitamins (similar to Whole Foods). Their prices are a lot cheaper than WF, too. |

LOVE it! There produce is very inexpensive. The produce does seem to go bad quicker though. I think it has to do with the lack of chemical preservatives. Just be aware of that and don't buy more than you can eat before it turns.

We love Sprouts! I go there for a lot of our produce, yogurt, chicken, bulk spices and vitamins. They do 25% off sales for the health + beauty department and also for the bulk bins.
I do try to avoid buying milk and bread there - both are overpriced. The bread selection is not great and I think their store brand of milk tastes terrible. |

I want to love them - but I liked our Sunflower way more before it turned in to a Sprouts. Their prices went up, quality went down and they don't carry some of my favorites anymore. |

I love Sprouts!
We buy all of our produce there and the majority of their meat there. The prices are significantly better than the regular grocery stores and I think the quality is better. I do agree that the produce tends to spoil a bit quicker because it doesn't get sprayed with as much gunk.
I really like the bulk bins, too. I appreciate being able to buy just a little bit of something, as opposed to a whole package that might not get used. |
