I spend a lot of time on my motorcycle in the summer. I use suncreen on my face and hands. However, I struggle with something to protect my lips. They're often a bit sunburned/windburned by the end of a long riding weekend.

Do you have a good lip balm with sunscreen that doesn't taste like I'm licking a vat of dish detergent or clothes soap? The couple that I've tried seem to melt into my skin, but when I stop to drink water or eat, I all I can taste is the chemicals.

The makers of sunscreen such as Hawaiian Tropic make tasty sunscreen with 45+ and up. I love them, because lip burn is annoying!

Blistex DCT, Lip Protectant/Sunscreen. SPF 20. It really works. BTDT.

Philosophy makes a good version of gloss + SPF that doesn't taste like soap.

I also have a Nivea gloss with SPF that is good.

Be advised, the Burt's Bee's Lifeguards lip balm will go on your lips white and stay white. It is wonderful for protecting your lips but it is not a cute look.

Fresh has a lip balm (plain, various tinteds, and a treatment balm) that I think are all SPF 15. It's $22 for a tube but one of my favorites. It tastes like lemon sugar.

For a much cheaper knockoff, I like this balm from blistex. Tastes like a lemon sweettart.

And although I was looking for something else from Nivea (thought my mint & minerals balm has SPF but I guess not), I see that they have an SPF 30.

No matter the season I use ChapStick Ultra. It has an SPF 30. It goes on smooth, no taste or color. My lips chap really fast if I don't use it.
