It might be that this photo is not everyone's cup o' tea, which is okay. I'll go ahead and post my card and see if this goes anywhere.

Hmmmm, a more challenging photo...

Like your card, Heidi - it soooo matches the photo (not matches, but you know what I mean).

Thanks for a "thinker"! Thinking caps on.

I think I can do this one - that is if I can find some pears that I know are hiding here - unless I threw them out when reorganizing. Will try to get this done this week end.

Very interesting photo -

Yes, this one is more challenging. I'm glad there are a few of you who might want to try this. Remember it doesn't have to be pears, etc, you have creative license to pick and choose what works for you if everything in the photo doesn't work for your idea.

I found my pears - and I have been saving them for a long time. This gives me a chance to use them. They are the only thing that jumped out at me from the pictures.

lickeyan, I really LOVE your card and it really works for this challenge photo! I love the FABRIC! Honestly, that pear on that fabric really feels like the photo to me.

Thanks so much for participating, I'm really thrilled!

I finally finished it, the second time around!

My first card, I spilled my water on and there was no fixing it.
So I did another one today and my camera was acting up and putting this weird halo over every photo. So I had to take a photo with my phone. I should have used a different background for it, it kinda washed it out a bit! I may try and retake the photo if I can.

This was a tough one, but I really enjoyed it. And it allowed me to use a stamp set I bought at a yard sale this summer for a quarter!
Thanks for hosting Heidi, these challenges have been a lot of fun!

Here's my card:

LeighAnn, a great card, in a different direction from the others. I love how so far we have 3 pretty different cards from one photo. I can't believe you got that stamp set for a quarter!!!

Thanks so much for participating!

Here is my card for this challenge: Bee Birthday card .

This challenge really helped me to get some direction on a card that I knew I wanted to make anyway - thanks, Heidi!

I really like your card, Christin! The colors and "feel" of the Photo really do work for a masculine card. Thanks for participating!

Colour and Ink submitted this card to this challenge today:
Food

Another excellent interpretation!

I invited her to Winterfest, since it seems she may be new to the stamping forum challenges.

Thanks so much for participating!

Thanks HowdyHeidi - seems the gremlins were about when I was posting last night as I did add my card link on this thread but obviously it disappeared into the great wide yonder! Sorry about that!. I do play along on the challenges when I have time ... thanks for the welcome and invite to participate. Regards, Deirdre

Not a problem, Deirdre. There definitely are glitches sometimes!
