I have a Pandora type bracelet with 5 beads. It is already almost too small to fit around my wrist. As it is someone else has to fasten it for me to wear. It was a gift from my kids last Mother's Day. I didn't really think about the size until I got two more beads for Christmas.

Do any companies have an extender type thing I can add to it to make the bracelet longer? I don't even know what to call it and haven't had much luck with Google.

ETA: it's not a real Pandora bracelet, just that type that you can put beads on, so while real Pandora bracelets might stretch, i don't know if this one would,it would have to be a Slinky to stretch as much as i need it to. I can't afford a real pandora bracelet or their beads.

I would think you'd just have to buy another bracelet in a larger size. I know Pandora is doing the free bracelet promotion with $100 purchase again in March. If you were planning on buying some more charms anyway, you'd get the bracelet for free ($65 value). And they would tell you what the correct size is for your wrist.

Whether there is an extender or not depends upon which type /brand of bracelet and which clasp type it has.

Also, I know that when I got my trolleads bracelet, they said if it was too small that I could bring it back and swap it in for a larger one.

This. Although, it seems if you wear it regularly, it will loosen up somewhat.

I have a Troll Bead version and the store we buy all my beads at upgraded my bracelet for free when it got too tight. I love them!!

ETA: The free size upgrade is a Trollbead thing, not just the store we go to. That wasn't clear in my original post...sorry.

I have a large wrist and wear 8"bracelets... when I got mine I went into Padora and tried on a fully loaded bracelet and they told me what size to get... I would definately go to Pandora and see if they would do something for you... they are pretty helpful.

Thanks. I don't have the money to upgrade or add beads to get some kind of deal. I think the kids got it at Kohls. We have no Pandora store or store that actually carries real Pandora beads except maybe a jewelry store. That's probably out of my price range too.

Guess I will only wear two beads at a time.

Kohls has the most liberal return policy of any store I know. If that's where they got it, I'd go in and see if the bracelet comes in sizes. If so, ask them if they will exchange it.

Check AC Moore, Michaels, JoAnns, and I think even Wal Mart in the craft/beads section. They have Pandora-type beads and the bracelets you put them on. This would be an affordable option for the beads you already have.

I am guessing you do not have a pandora? We recently took mom's in to exchange for a larger size and he assured us that their bracelets stretch so after she gets a few beads on it, it should be more comfortable.

I can vouch that the Pandora bracelets stretch. One of mine is stretched so much it's almost too big to wear.

The Mole Hole sells Pandora beads, I think.

If your bracelet is from Kohls, I'd check there to see if you can trade the bracelet. If not, maybe buy the larger one.

I have a bracelet from Kay Jewelry...the bracelet is way too long. I bought a shorter one to use for my regular bracelet and use the long one for new beads sometimes. I just wait for a sale to get the bracelet I want. I love the one from Kay that has a heart clasp...I don't need any help even on the short one!

have you looked at a craft store like M's for some kind of extender chain?

I just ordered a Bracelet Buddy off of Amazon.

My Brighton bracelet is a little too short to quickly fasten on my own, but I am afraid it will be too big if I size up. The Bracelet Buddy should help me fasten it on my own.
