I'm headed to Orlando for work today and will be there through Saturday. I'm thinking of heading over to the Harry Potter park. I went a couple of years ago and loved it but it was super crowded (hadn't been open long) and I didn't really get to soak it all in. SO, what do you think the crowd will be like on Friday afternoon/night? That's really the only free time I have. I could be there as early as 2:00. I know we're in the "off" season but I also know it's a Friday night. I am not interested in going to any other part of the Universal, which I know is crazy in terms of the money I'll spend, but if the crowds are enjoyable then it would be worth it to me. On the other hand, it's NOT worth the money to me if it's going to be just as crazy as the last time.

My family and I live about 40 min from Universal and go frequently (annual passes). We went two weekends ago on a Sunday. Got there around 11:00. Crowds were much better than expected. We only waited 20 min for Harry Potter which is the shortest I've ever seen it.

Are you going alone?? Many of the bigger rides at Islands of Adventure and Universal have single rider lines. My DD and I use them frequently and in most cases it saves a ton of time.
