Thought I'd share some winter pictures. We've had some snow this year, which is much better for pictures than last year when there was no snow and it was just brown all winter.
This day was particularly foggy, which was great for pictures!
I had fun playing around with some of these pictures - I used textures/brushes from Shadowhouse Creations.
As always, CC appreciated! Thanks for looking!
1.
2.
3.
4. And this one was pure luck - got a tree reflection in a water droplet.

That last one was pure skill - skill to notice, skill to respond quickly enough to get the photo, skill to get the exposure right. Great job.
I really love the second one too, with the foggy look in the top of the trees and the pop of color with the folks walking.
Thanks for sharing! |

Thanks!
For the last one, I wasn't even going for the reflection (I didn't notice it at the time). I liked the water droplets on the pine needles and when I opened them up on the computer I noticed there was a reflection. This is the original picture: http://www.pbase.com/pudgy_groundhog/image/148337020
Next time I will pay more attention. |

I'm finding myself drawn to 1 and 3.
I'd really like to see 1 without the textures though. I don't think it really adds to the pic, my opinion only.
I think it would make a very striking image on it's own.
You've really caputed the essence of winter in these. |

Krisztina, here's the first photo without anything added:

Love love love 2 and 4. I agree, I like 1 without all the stuff...it seems more striking to me. |

What beautiful photos. I love images of leafless tress and yours are striking. I really love the first one without the editing. It seems more haunting. | |

These are wonderful!
I think the second one is my favourite, for its emotional appeal. But they are all so well done, and the first one is very striking, and the last one has that added interest, a special bonus if you take the time to look closer. |
