I started to clean my very messy scrap room today. I have so much newer paper that the only way to make room for it was to purge some of the old. So far, I've got a donation pile about 2 inches high. I still have paper to go through, but this is a good start.

You're off to a great start!

I purged quite a bit last year and it felt so good. I'm needing to do more this year too.

I've been reluctant, but I have a friend just getting into scrapping, so now I have incentive! I need to make room, too!

My mom lives right next door, and she is the recipient of my purging when it happens. I get a double feel-good, first by getting rid of stuff I won't use and freeing the space, and second when she gets all excited to have my old stuff.

Way to go! it feels great to let go of some old stuff! Yesterday I was having a bit of a creative block so I decided to do some cleaning. I've had scrubby in my Expedition devoted to old idea books. After looking through several I decided to get rid of all of them! And then I quickly filled in all of my new space with 6x6 pads. It's like a flood, I tell ya! As soon as I bale a little out something always come rushing in to fill the space!

You are off to a good start. I just purged 2 boxes last week and it was a great feeling. I still have a long way to go.

Need to do this but as soon as I start I see how far I've got to go and it seems so overwhelming. I need to do a little bit at a time...
