I have collected so much washi tape that I needed a different storage method. I am loving them on antique wooden spools. You can see it here, and I hope it's helpful to someone.  Blessings,

Oh my gosh, Patter! Where do you find the time to use your talents so beautifully!?! I am not a washi person at all...but these are just BEAUTIFUL and the tags are brilliant!
Bird question for you-I have a cockatiel and have a HUGE roll of cork, is it safe to give any cork or does it need to be very hard like in a stopper? The cork I have is almost like sheets of bulletin board material and I do not want ANYTHING happening to Smokey, but he loves to chew on various materials. Cork is not one I had thought of though. Would love your thoughts on that! |

Agh thank you! And I would not give your fid (feathered kid) just any cork. I only give what I buy because it's bird safe and all natural (not pressed or glued). I would be happy to throw a few of these in a small envelope for you to try to see if you he would like it. Let me know. |

I have so many of these - I sew and my SIL had a box in an old warehouse she owns so she gave them to me thinking I could use them. I use them for Christmas decor but they are now going to be used for my ever-growing tape collection, thanks to you! Much better than the metal box I have the tapes in now.

How cool that your SIL had a bunch of these! Awesome! Would love to see your Christmas decor ideas! I still have some extra spools.

I have a basket of those spools I've been repurposing for decor/storage (held ribbon for a while) for years. They are a fun find!

I love this idea! I have seen a similar idea with wooden dowels glued onto old candlestick holders to use for twine. I so wish I had a pretty scrap space to use these wonderful ideas. |
