Are the older inks being discontinued? I went Michaels yesterday and they were all on clearance for $2.99. I only bought 2 because I thought it was only certain colors, then realized they are all older colors that have been around for awhile. Walnut, Tea, Vintage Photo, Marmalade, Faded jeans etc. |

The new color labels on the top are slightly different from the older so that could be a reason. It doesn't take much for retailers to want to clear out the old look.
Who knows, could be room for different knew stuff.

Could be they aren't selling as we'll as they used to. There is inly so much shelf space that it needs to be cleared out for something new. | |

Michaels has done this with lots of other brands in the scrapbooking section that I've noticed. They'll phase out the name brand and then replace with their crappy recollections brand. I saw they had their own version of smash books, I'll bet the smash brand will go on clearance soon too. | |

Michaels has had some of those older colors for YEARS! Maybe they are just getting replaced with newer (or different) colors?
