Since I'm nowhere near an IKEA store, I didn't mind paying the $10.00 shipping -- which I felt was really reasonable.

Hubby said it would be cheaper for him if I just order it online . Too bad they don't sell the Antonius insert online. |

Online, it's showing a color option of green, but it looks like there aren't any for sale. Does anyone know if they're coming out in green? Thanks.

Ikea is a family destination about every other weekend. The grandkids love going for the food and the scavenger hunt they have. I just love looking at all the organizing that they make possible. Went last weekend and only 2 cashiers on Saturday morning at 11am. What were they thinking. I sat my things down and will try again this weekend.

I need more ideas, I live 4 hours from an ikea department store.
Mine just arrived on my doorstep this morning. I paid $10 for shipping which was definitely worth it to me--no gas or time. Now I need to see if dd wants to put it together for me this afternoon. |

I was able to order the Raskog cart along with the Antonius inserts online. Got mine last month and love it! |

Love my! I paid the $10 for shipping. It went together really easily. I don't do PL so I don't use it for that. But I use the bottom shelf for the current box of photos I am scrapping, the middle shelf for my camera bag and the top shelf is for the stack of papers I am using the most of at the time. The papers don't lay flat, but I have a piece of cardboard behind them to hold them at an angle. I love it. Keeps that corner of my scraproom looking much nicer. |

I was at World Market yesteray and they have some carts that look almost exactly like these. I actually like them better. Something to think about if you don't have an IKEA near you.

....Getting the shelves screwed into the frame is almost impossible...seems like I need a couple extra sets of hands?
I used washi tape to hold the screws in, while I held the shelf with one hand, and used the screw driver with the other....

I have plastic Ikea trays in mine that look nearly identical to those antonius ones (which appear to be made of mesh). That might be an option for those that can't find the antonius line if it is being discontinued.... they only problem is that I don't know the name of it. They were in the organizing section at Ikea and were only a couple of dollars.

I have drawer organizers and baskets from various places. I like looking not only drawer organizers, but in the kitchen and bath sections to find things for inside the cart. |
I am a project lifer. That's why I am taking so many pictures.....

I don't do PL and still bought one and glad I did. I also bought the trays that fit inside it. Perfect for my brads, journaling cards, layered stickers, bakers twine and more. Pretty much it is perfect for all embellies for any scapbooker! |

So after paying $78 for one for our school library, a friend messaged me to say that they were selling them for $55 over Easter!!
I arrived on Ikeas' doorstep at 9am Easter sunday and now have another 2- one for my bathroom to keep all my everyday makeup, hairdryer etc handy and one for my scrapbook room. Have no idea HOW I'll use it there but I'm sure I'll find a purpose for it!

I got a cart a few months ago and I don't do PL. I use little bowls or containers that I've had or picked up at Target to store my wood veneer, ribbons, shipping tags, MME enamel dots, and misc. paint supplies. I LOVE it!! |

I'm going to use mine for my tools and adhesives -- I think it will roll under my table when I'm not using. I'm thinking about getting another one to use for stamping supplies; maybe inks in top two trays (yes, I have a lot of inks) and embossing powders in the bottom tray. There again, I could roll it to my work station.

I just bought one and the antonius trays to go in it...but I feel the antonius trays are a bit small and end up wasting quite a few square inches of storage space, so I'm going to figure out something else.

I just bought this cart Saturday and put it together last night. I think I got one that has a defect because it wobbles to the one side. When I had my husband took a closer look at it to make sure I put it together right (LOL) he noticed the same thing I did. The one opening to screw the caster in is turned inward making the wheel lean to the inside and therefore it is uneven and wobbles. So since I know I won't be able to live with it like that, it looks as if I'm loading it up and taking it back to the store in hopes to get a new one. This time I think I'll put it together in the parking lot so I won't have to make a return trip just in case...lol Has anyone else ever had this happen? |

Tami
My cart had a similar issue with one of the casters -- however, I haven't noticed a major problem with it wobbling. I don't know if maybe the caster "corrected" itself.

I am really going to have to make a trip to Ikea for one, this would be perfect for my stamping supplies, this way I could just pull it up to my desk when I them.

I was at a multiway crop this past weekend and I took my cart with me. Everyone asked about it! I blinged it up with some vinyl cut outs. It was so useful. The crop tables are about 8 ft long but only 18 in deep. The cart was super-useful. I had my tool tote on the top, all my silhouette stuff and misc. packages of embellishments on the second tray with my thickers - the fit perfectly the long way in the tray- and my photos in their plastic cases and my small trimmer in the bottom. It left me loads of room to spread out the other stuff I needed.
I may have to start taking orders...everyone wanted one AND wanted to know how to decorate it! |
