I am traveling from Ohio to Pittsburgh tomorrow to go to Ikea and thought...wonder if they have any LSS still open. I have googled, but would like some local input too.

There is a Hobby Lobby very close to Ikea but I believe they are closed on Sunday. The only others ones I know are at least an hour away from Ikea. One being Scrapbook Superstation in Butler, PA (north of PGH). which is HUGE! If you are up for driving further this store would be worth it. The others are very small and in Greensburg,PA (crop shop and an art tech store). Not sure if there are any others out there....

I agree. Butler Superstation would have your best selection.

Bummer I didn't see this before I left!! I would have traveled an hour! I traveled 45 minutes to Greensburg and wasn't impressed. Bought nothing. Swung a little south on the way home and hit Scrapbooking by Lisa in Wintersville, OH.....loved that! She has another store in Alliance, OH I have been to so I knew it would be good! Well next time, I will have to try Scrapbook Superstation.
My post was a little misleading since I said I was going tomorrow and posted after midnight...it was actually today (Sat) that I went. I have a Hobby Lobby near me so didn't go in there.
Thanks for your help!

If I had read your post last night, I would have told you not to bother with either Greensburg store. I live 15 minutes from Greensburg and hardly ever shop at either store. The people at Art Tech are nice and helpful but most of their product is older. And I find the Crop Shop to be a total waste of my time. In the future, go to the Scrapbook Superstation in Butler. They are helpful and have lots of stuff and get new things all the time. I only get there once it twice a year. If your travels would take you to Washington, PA or Wheeling, WV area, there are two related shops called Mom's Memories. The one in Washington is small but has a decent selection. I haven't been to the other store but am told it is larger. That is about all that I know of in western PA.
