I made eggs, toast, and coffee for breakfast. Now I'm working on a new resume and hoping to get the rest of the laundry done. We are taking DD to see Hansel & Gretel later.

I spent the morning writing out all of the thank you cards for our wedding gifts. I'm glad to have it done!

I'm heading to the store for salad ingredients and making the salad to take to my brother-in-law and sister-in-law's house tonight. They're having a small get together! They hosted our wedding at their house and this will be the first time we've been over to hang out since...can't wait! We always have a lot of fun with them

cleaned out the guest room - starting to get the room ready to accomodate a baby for when i get to babysit (just a bit excited...he isn't due until March 23)

i've probably done seven loads of laundry (don't judge!) and mopped all the floors

i really should shower and get dressed

Laundry, a trip to Walmart to get pizza for the kids for tea, painted toe nails and finger nails, and now getting ready to go out to a birthday party. Later DH and I are going to a Burns Night Supper, so have my tartan sash ready, and my dancin' shoes to Ceilidh the night away

Nothing much here. Have spent the morning watching the remodeling shows on HGTV, drinking my coffee and playing on the computer. DD and I are going to go out in a bit to hit some stores to pick up some decorations for my husband's 50th birthday party in a couple of weeks. When I get home I will make soup for dinner and probably do some reading.

I would like to see Hansel and Gretel. Give us your review when you get home.

My usual Saturday lately...cleaning, laundry, and organizing.

Hello,

I woke up early and checked out some of my favorite quilting blogs while doing laundry. Then I graded some papers. I'm a middle school English teacher. Tonight I'm off to a fellow teacher's 31 party. I really don't need anything, but I know no one from school is going. She is hosting it for her SIL.Right now I am trying to get a Christmas layout planned, so I have spent some time looking at the gallery for inspiration. And, I actually joined 2Peas today after years of just lurking. My goal is to actually learn how to post layouts and complete a few challenges. Have a great weekend, everyone!

Slept in late! My dd doesnt get up until 10 or 11. Trying to decide what to have for lunch.

Then finishing up the nursery for baby on the way. Cleaning it up and putting everything away. Then cleaning DD's room and the usual picking up.

After that I'll make a grocery trip when DH gets home from work (so I don't have to take dd).

Some sort of take-out for dinner, unless DH cooks while I'm at the store. Then snuggle and catch up on DVR shows with DH and DD before bed.

I'm tired already!

I went into work for a while this morning and now I'm watching dh put together a new office chair for me. Later we will head out to the high school for dd's basketball game. Only one week of the regular season left.

Started the day by going to a funeral for a four month old baby.

The day is getting better though... now I'm (avoiding) doing laundry and cleaning the house.

I shoveled the snow, did a load of laundry, polished the furniture and washed the dishes. I straightened up my room but I need to finish prepping the lesson for next week's scrap club.

we've went to triple A to get the tags for the truck and then to the
Asian Lunar Festival downtown, checked out the museum's display on John Muir and a few antique stores. Didn't find anything too exciting .

We had a morning soak in the hot tub- first time I've been out there with a light snow falling. Fun but it's a long walk across the deck when you get out.

Rest of the day- food blog surfing, menu planning and grocery shopping. Going out to dinner to Red Robin. YUM!

Laundry, sorting socks and matching underwear. When DH does the laundry, he doesn't sort at all before he starts, so the first load might have one of every sock. ~sigh~ At least he does laundry.

We have too much stuff.

Anywaaaaaay, then later later today I will be doing some arty stuff. I tried to last night, but we had a blackout.

Went to an early morning appt. at the credit union to re-fi our car loan. CarMax was charging us 6%+ while the credit union is only charging 2%+. Quite a difference!

I then took 15 yo DD babysitting and picked her up. Worked on rearranging my room a bit while she was gone. She's babysitting again tonight (different family) but it's only 2 hours and about a 30 minute drive so I'll just stay around the area.

Slept in and then lazed around for a bit after that.

Once I finally left the house, I shopped til I dropped. Braved the mall for some things I needed and then did the grocery shopping.

Now I am at home enjoying my yummy pizza that I just had delivered while I am watching my brand new DVD of "The Pirate Movie". (Thank you cheesy movie thread from last week)

DH helped with my resume, so that's done. We saw Hansel & Gretel in IMAX and it was awesome! It had some really good action scenes that made it worth seeing in 3D. Now, time to cook dinner and veg for the rest of the night.
