My DH surprised me with a 7D this weekend! I currently have a Rebel XT so this is a huge jump for me! I am excited to get out and try it. If you have any suggestions or hints for me I am open to everything!

Wonderful. Enjoy your new toy. There is a bit of a learning curve with the 7D. Youtube has lots of videos

I don't have any tips because it's really a hands on type of learning but Google became my bff when I first got mine

you will notice a big difference in low light, less noise!

I think a photography class should be a requirement in all educational programs because it makes you see the world rather than just look at it.
