I have never made one. If I did, it would probably be ~ $100, including the monthly kit I get.

I don't have one either. Not including crop fees, I probably average about $50-60 a month over the year but I usually go on a shopping spree for a couple of weeks then go on a freeze for a couple of months.

On our budget spreadsheet I have $50 allotted. Some months it's more, some it's less...usually more so it's clearly something I need to work on!

I don't have one because I don't shop often since I've been scrapping for 18 years. I reward myself with a purchase usually under $50.00 if I've got a lot of scrapping done.

I don't have one. I don't shop often, maybe 5 times a year. Usually I spend ~$50 each time.

No budget here and no monthly kits. I don't shop with any regularity. I'll visit an Archivers every few months and place maybe 3-5 orders from 2peas a year. Unless I'm buying a machine, I probably spend $300-$500 a year. I've cut way back on my visits to M's or Hobby Lobby.

No budget here. I've been scrapping so long that I pretty much have what I need. I may spend $50.00 a year on base page cardstock, if that. I do not need new releases any longer, thank goodness! LOL

Omg! I feel embrassed to even post the amount I spend it's A LOT!!!! But I justify it ..because i really only started scrapbooking a few months ago and didn't have anything and of course I wanted everything lol so lets just say in the past few months with the amount of money I have spent just on scrapbooking I could be sipping on a piña Colloid in the Caribbean getting my feet massaged lol.. It's horrible but its a hobby that I love and I don't plain on spending like this forever! After I get the things I want from CHA I'm going frozen for a very long time so maybe in the end it won't be so bad!

I have yet to stay under that.

RIGHT?! *If* I could figure out how much I should restrict myself to, I know I would blow it every time I finally get to Scrapbook Territory.

I did read & post on "Frozen" peas today (first time). I didn't even know what that meant until today.

Perhaps while I'm frozen, I should sit down and figure out a reasonable budget...doesn't this always lead to the question: how I can make a little (even just the tiniest little bit) of money with this craft?!

Currently, nothing. We don't have money in the budget right now for things we do not need. But that's okay because I have enough supplies (except adhesive and cardstock) to keep me going for the rest of my life!

I have a general spending budget for everything in a month. Some months I can spend nothing on scrap stuff, some months I spend $100 or even more (during expo time at least). It just depends on what I am up to.

Currently, it's about $30 per month. I mostly shop online, so that's about one order from Two Peas or another online retailer every other month (I wait until I have enough in my cart for free shipping). I don't include adhesive and photo printing in that amount, but together those probably adds up to less than $30 per year.

No real budget. If I find stuff that I really want, I buy it. If I find I've been buying a lot of stuff lately then I cut back. I used to get a kit club that was $30 a month. But I found that I wasn't really using it, so I cancelled it.

Right now my only confirm purchased is my silhouette file subscription of $20 a month. And cropping probably at least once a month and I probably spend around $15-20 at crop. So I'd say at around $40-50 a month. But some month's I spend more and some I spend less.

This month I'll spend more cause I joined a vinyl share and a tumbler share.

My supplies come out of my monthly "me money". So if i spend it all on scrapping, i know i cant go to lunch with friends on the weekend, etc. I try to keep it under 50 per month and i try not to buy stuff that i just think is cute. I try to buy with a project or a specific layout in mind and this helps keep most of the inpulse purchases from happening.

I don't really have a budget. Some months I spend very little; others I spend a lot. I truly have way more that I need or will ever use. I'm currently trying to be frozen, but I know that won't last too long.

I don't really have a monthly budget, but this year I'm trying something new. (Because I think I spent a lot more than I realized last year, between random visits to J's, M's, and A's!)

Anyways, I'm taking my Christmas and birthday money and that will be my scrappy budget for the year. It's about $450, and I'm estimating around $100 for albums (slowly switching over to WRMKs), and around $50 for classes. So that works out to about $25 per month for new goodies.

I'm not including crop fees, adhesive or photo printing in that total. We'll see how it goes!

@ Bluna - What is a Frozen pea??

As for budget - I try to strike deals with my hubby, but since it's for me and for a good cause - I like to splurge now and then. Nothing regular, I'd say less than $20 a month.

My spending really varies depending on the month. I go to two CK conventions each year so those are scrappy expenses. I also go to a few weekend retreats, card classes and 12 hour crops.

So I don't spend as much on actual supplies like I used to, but on hotels and travel now

I can not even type how much i spend on scrapbooking, but to give an idea i sub to all 3 mains at SC i normally get all 4 add ons, this month i bought 2 of the same add on as i love it so much

I also buy the Noel Mignon kit

My husband is fine with it as he loves what i do, also i have no stash what i buy i use, and if i see anything build up i just do not buy any add ons for that month.

That said my husband works off shore and gets a good wage for it, this means i can scrap at night when he away for weeks on end. If his job was to change i would not be able to buy what i do now

I have never given serious consieration. I know you are thinking. I don't spend then do and I have never really added up everything. For instabce in this last month or so I spent around $70 at 2peas on three orders, went to the lss twice and spent about $35 there. A couple stops more to hit up Michaels and WM...it's bad and not getting better. As soon as I get my refund I am off to Ikea. But after that I am dine because I will have everything I need to finally have my modern day scrap dream room. I can't wait!!! But everything I bought recently has been fir PL and towards a memorial album so it has been worth the expense...and there has been many times when I did't spend for over a year. I do go to Archivers once a year on vacation. Nope never going to set a budget because I do spend as I see fit and can make it on what I earn. I am single again so I do know when to say no.

Maybe $5.
I don't purchase every month. In fact I can go 6-8 months without picking up anything.
So, if I include the ATG refills, I average $5 per month but only spend it once or twice a year.

@ Bluna - What is a Frozen pea??

anniec: Near as I can tell, a Frozen Pea is a Pea who has decided not to spend any $ on scrapping supplies...relying on stash for all but the most essential items.

I found this thread today: Frozen Peas week of 1/28

I think I will consider myself Frozen until I can answer the question posed by THIS thread (what is your budget) clearly an decisively.

We'll see.

I probably average 25-30 per month. But some months I buy nothing and other months I may buy more. I am pretty strict about what I buy and always looking for coupons and sales. I only order my prints when snapfish has penny prints and really weigh each purchase.

I recently purchased my silhouette portrait, but sold my cricut and carts to help offset the cost.

I recently made a trip to A's which I only do once or twice a year and only spent $35.00.

I never had a budget until this year. But I also set a goal to scrapbook more this year. I set it at $50 but it has been really hard to stay under that. I have already spent all of Jan. budget and half of Feb. and I still need to get photos to do any more scrapping. lol

At least I am keeping track of where and what I am spending it on now. We are saving for a cruise this summer so that has motivated me to pay attention to what I am spending and save more.

Ahhh, this post has definitely made me realize I have a spending problem. I literally just spent $150 in scrapbooking stuff and I have my cart filled up again and right now it's at $130. I'm sure that I'll hit place order soon enough and I am also getting my studio calico monthly kit for Feb. I am a newlywed and no kids so my money to spend is pretty much on what I want but still. I think I buy too much but it's like I love having it all

I don't have a budget. Oops!! I guess that is because I may go $100-200 spending one month, but then not buy anything for 2 months afterwards. Then go another single month of $100-200.

Such a wide variance on spending habits! I work at a LSS, so I spend the bulk of my paycheck there, and the rest goes to my Studio Calico and Gossamer Blue kits. I'm a bit of a "gotta have it, cuz it's so stinkin cute" type, but that's got to slow down soon! I'm running out of room in my studio!! HA! I have been with SC for so long I hate to quit as I get the Rewards deals which are awesome. I have been subbing to their card kit, but when that ends, I'm not renewing. It's not as good as i thought it would be.
My little paycheck has funded some new Martha Stewart craft furniture for my studio which has been Amazing!
Oh, and I teach Silhouette classes as well, so that's a nice bit of bonus cash!
