I love it too. Obsessively!
But I've watched it one episode at a time as it has aired on Showtime.
I hate that the clips on the award shows have shown such HUGE spoilers to folks who haven't seen it yet but I guess that's just the way TV is these days!

He is such an outstanding actor and has aged so nicely. He looks real. You can really tell a true pro and serious talent.

He's an all-round amazing performer!
And yes, that beard adds years - when he shaved it after Season 1, he looked 10 years younger!

Also addicted.
Btw, have you heard the rumors that Jane Kazmarek will be joining the cast of Breaking Bad?

No, I haven't heard that rumor.
I've only watched through the 4th season though. Waiting for 5 to wrap and become available to download.

I have only seen season one (we don't have Showtime) and I loved it. I really want to see season two, though I've heard it's not as good. I can't decide whether to wait it out for almost a year when season two will be released on streaming/dvd or if we should subscribe to Showtime for a bit just to watch this show.

I thought season 2 was actually MUCH better than season 1 - lots more going on, huge plot changers every episode, etc. |

That's exactly what I've heard... but with a negative spin. That it's gotten too action-packed and fast moving, more like 24. I loved 24 but Homeland and 24 are very different kinds of shows and I would be disappointed to see Homeland go that route.

I've never seen 24, so I can't compare. There was still plenty about her and feelings and romance and all that other stuff, there was just more going on and more "shockers". Let's just say season 1, I could watch an episode and not be too anxious to see the next one. It was good, but not something I HAD to see. Whereas season 2, I was anxiously anticipating each episode and seeing what would happen next. |

It was like the book I couldn't put down. I spent a lot of my winter break watching both seasons. Can't wait for season 3!
I agree that it reminds me of 24.
