I'm sure it's not the first time, either. I just ordered a bunch of Basic Grey Soleil with my last Two Peas order, because it was being phased out and I've been intending to buy it. Only . . . apparently I already did! A couple of days later I was going through some paper, and ran across the ENTIRE collection pack.

Good thing I really like it! This is either a sign that I need to shop less, or organize more. Or both!

Has this happened to you?

LOL, well at least you really love those papers... that line really is quite beautiful.
I hate to admit that this has happened to me a couple times as well. Most recently was this past fall when I just had to get the fall and Christmas 6x6 pads by Simple Stories. Then when I went to put them away I already had one of each on the shelf.

I bought the same SC letter stamp twice. Which turned out to be a good thing because I needed the extra letters.

So maybe it's more of a faulty memory thing, then.

Not yet!! but is because I'm constantly mentally scrapping. But plenty times i'm looking for a specific paper and then realized that I already used it.
I do buy a lot if repeat items in my grocery list and keep forgetting others even with a list in my hand...

Haven't done it lately, but the funniest time this happened to me the item happened to be a book on organizing!

^^^okay, now this is funny!!

I've never done it with scrappy supplies (that I know of, anyway), but I've done it plenty of times while grocery shopping.

Oh that's funny.

I have a friend who when cleaning up her scrap area found 6 brayers. SIX! She would go to use one and not finding it, buy another. This evidently happened 5 times. ROFL!

I've done this too. Usually with stamps or embellishments. At least we are consistent in what we like!

Oh. So. Many. Times.

I just posted on another thread about how it often takes me a long time before I get around to putting away my new purchases. (I shop primarily brick & mortar.)

A few times I've actually come home with a new bag of goodies and when I get around to putting that away, I also put away the *previous* bag of goodies only to find their are a LOT of repeat purchases. I clearly have a problem (though, consistency is not it).

I always order double, or triple! I'm trying to be more aware now when I order & to make sure i check to see if I have it first! I have ordered so many items that i already owned its insane! Lol.. I wish twopeas would have a feature on there site ... When you sign into ur account and go shopping it will say next to an item weather you own it or not. Just like when you buy shapes from the silhouette store.. If you already own the shape it tells you! Now that would be awesome!

I've ordered the doubles of the same thing in the same order but that must have been accidentally adding it to my cart twice! I have a pretty good idea of the supplies I have in my stash

Too many times. That's why I add all my new purchases to the Scrap Stash iPhone app.

And if you don't have an iPhone, there's a web site too.

hanging head...yes, many times. But you're right, if you like it, you'd probably use up that first bunch and say "wish I'd gotten more of this"...and now you'll have it! Maria

I've done it several times. The one that sticks out is Echo Park's first Christmas collection. I do still love it though!

Yes, but thankfully it was just a flower pack! And while it will take me forrrrrrrever to use both packs, at least I like them! Have fun with your paper!

I have done this so many times that I have a box under my scrap table to throw my duplicates in. I bet there is at least 15 items in that box. If I can't return the item, they become RAK's.

I've done this so many times. Because of this, I now have Amy Tangerine Sketchbook individual sheets, the Recollections re-brand pad, and the actual name brand pad of paper. Good thing I love it!

I did that on PURPOSE!!! My favorite line EVER. However, I did give the paper pad to my niece to use, since I realized that I'd probably never get through all of it!

Yep, definitely have done that with something that once I got the first time around I wasn't that thrilled with it so when I bought it again I was kind of bummed but I'm sure in good time I'll use it

I did that not too long ago. I now have two identical sets of Studio Calico stamps.

Oops! Although I suppose it confirms that I really like them!

I've done it a few times with stickles. I have 3 bottles of the same color but I have barely used any of the first bottle.

I have about 6 things right now in a pile that are duplicates that I'm trying to trade/sell..Obviously I like them enough that I bought twice but nothing that is worth having 2 of.

This is why you need a scrappy BFF- me and my BFF give each other all the accidental doubles! Unfortunately we live on separate sides of the us - but once a year we go on a retreat and exchange a few things.

I think I may have EP's For the Record in my stash. I remember holding it up at HL when it was 1/2 off and thinking "hmmm...". I have been looking for it all morning in my craft room. IDK if I have it or not. But man, did I find a ton of other cute stuff I forgot I bought!
