My layouts are fat. love pop dots and dimension and texture.
I have recently switched over to a ring binder style album (specifically the modern ones by AC with the kraft cover) and I'm wondering how many filled page protectors can I expect to fit into an album.

So...how many page protectors do your AC albums hold and how fat are your layouts??

Thanks ladies!

I am old school and use all my out dated sb stuff so mine are very lumpy. I haven't filled my 3 ring binder yet however it looks like it will be a lot.

My LOs vary in 'fatness' depending on my mood. The fatter they are, the more time and attention I had to give them. The flatter ones are the "I only have an hour and I want this memory/picture/thought preserved" LOs.

I mostly use traditional, post bound albums but I will be curious to see how many pages others are putting in ring-style albums. I may have to switch!

I use those same albums, and my layouts are quite layered - lots of pop dots, chipboard, buttons etc. I just counted and I have 15 page protectors, so 30 pages, in my '2012 vol1' album.

Thanks for the responses so far, ladies!

Please keep them coming!

I'm getting the feeling that all the "yearly" albums I'm trying to catch up on will require 2 volumes...and probably their own bookshelf!!!

I think it's about 15 as well, sometimes 20 if there's a couple of flat ones in there too. I like the ring binder albums though because they are free to take up space - I used to hate how post bound albums had all the ends/spines squished together and then it would fan out to the bulk of the pages themselves... Don't know if that makes sense... lol.

I have somewhere around 35 page protectors, so 70 pages in the scrapbooks that I went to 3-ring style with. But one of them has started to pull the binder clips off the spine of the book, so I think 60 might be the better place to stop, depending on how fat you mean by fat. My pages are usually a little lumpy, but not too bad.
