Hi- still in Sacramento till tomorrow night. Then we have to deal more with the car in the body shop/ insurance/ etc. I'm not ready to go to the chiropractor as I'm still in pain ( inflammation)
Barb- yes it's nice to reconnect! Our daughter / son in law/ grandson (2&1/2) now live in El Sobrante. They have a bigger house than we do! Hopefully by the time our grandson is ready for Kindergarten the school will be still ok. I was a teacher for decades so I'll be paying attention to that!
It's clouding over here in Sacramento, but life is good!

Morning all. Got the wall with the couch repainted and worked on the trim. Still have the baseboards on two walls behind the heaviest furniture but all the visible stuff has been touched up. (It was already white, I just refreshed it.) Didn't have enough energy to even start on doing the ceiling molding. That's a next weekend project.
Not sure how many days I have to work this week. Right now it's just Mon-Wed. Doc is on vacation in London with his family. BD is doing surgery early this morning then seeing patients this afternoon. He has surgery all day tomorrow and then patients on Wednesday. Going to be a strange week.
Tammy, so nice that Becca's bio grandparents are staying in touch. Just amazes me to think about her being adopted when she looks so much like the boys.
Melanie, hope you're feeling better today.
Diana, sorry you had to come back to the real world but know you had a great weekend at the spa.
Waving hi to everyone else. |

Hi Everyone!
My weekend was busy but good. It was great seeing my brother and the scattering of Mom's ashes was sad, funny, inspiring all at once. This past year really has brought my brothers, my dad and myself so much closer. And it was great seeing Jacques after a year. We have always been close, so it is fabulous having him here. Just wish it was for longer...
On Sat afternoon I went to retail training for 4 hours. As I'm realising more and more, I'm a pharmacist, not trained in retail and business management. It was so interesting - common sense in most cases, but, unless someone points it out to you, you never actually consider things clearly. The psycology behind retail is amazing.
I'll be back to comment on everyone else's posts. I need to contact Sean's teacher to stop a case of bullying before it gets physical. He and another boy are aguing about evoution vs creation, of all things and it aparently almost got violent today. Not debating the different beliefs but they MUST respect each others beliefs and not resort ot intimidation. Wow, there just always seems to be something, doesn't there?

Good Morning Peas!
I'm off of work today which is happy!!! I spent all day Saturday at Mal's show choir contest. She did really well, especially for her first competition. She & Olivia had a nice day together, it was sweet. I read a book while I waited between the different performances, it's called "the 5 dysfunctions of a team", it was a quick read. I like reading leadership type of books.
Toni - I'll be praying for you to find another job that is closer to home and pays better. It was kind of you to be defending the managers even as you are leaving J's. My new job is going okay. I really miss all of my friends that worked for me at my old place, the hardest part of the transition is that I'm having to change an entire culture and that people don't know me well enough to trust me yet, that part can be lonely. But it will be fine, it's just going to take time. I believe that I was supposed to make this move and I really like some of the things that I get to do and am really lucky to have one good friend there.
Theresa - You are on it, way to go on getting that painting finished. Make sure that you take time to take care of yourself, don't push yourself too hard.
Tammy - I think it's awesome that you are maintaining the relationship with Becca's bio family. It's good that she will never have to really wonder why she was adopted, she'll have grown up with an understanding of it, which should be healthy for her.
Lindy - I hope you recover quickly from the accident, it sounds terrible...so glad that you and dh are okay. BTW, welcome to the group!
Michelle - That is an interesting topic to spark bullying. I hope that you are able to work with the school & Sean to get things settled down.
Well, I'm going to run. I promised Grif that I would play Monopoly with him today, so am going to do that before the day slips away from me.
Take care all!!!
Tina

Just a Praisemark.
Monica, thanks for the RAK list. When it came up on my ipad, all the birthdays were huge numbers with a dollar sign. Weird. I appreciate it and will announce the b-days. If you are not on the current RAK list Monica just sent, I need your b-day! Thanks!
It makes me so mad that when I get a few minutes on a weekend to check in and catch up, 2peas is down again. I really think it has something to do with them owning the domain again. When they were part of a bigger corp. it seemed that we had fewer online snafus.
I'm expecting grandchildren any minute so have to run. Hugs to all and virtual chicken soup to Melanie!

Sorry, had to post one more. This is one that I added too. I had previously posted the first page. The second page is new.

That's it for now.
ETA - No, I'm not really a lot better although instead of being stuffed up, I'm blowing my nose all the time now. I think that is a sign that the end is coming. Let's hope so. I have a lot to do around the house. |

Hello Chatty Scrappers! Your chatter moves way too fast for me to keep up, but I'll try to respond to the others who posted today.
Theresa: Congrats on getting all the painting done while holding down the fort at work.
Michelle: Hope the training goes well for you.
Tina: Glad Mal did well in her choir competiton.
Sherri: Enjoy the new do!
Nylene: Enjoy the grandkids!
Melanie: Love all your layouts, especially that third grade one.
I did want to share with you my two most recently posted layouts. They aren't for any of this month's challenges (although they are for current Stash Buster and Garden Girl challenges). As far as Chatty Scrappers, they are both inspired by one of the sketches posted here last month. These layouts are both the same two photos of my DGD with her real maternal grandmother.

Good evening ladies! Today has been a very productive day for me. I started out finally getting Jordyne some yogurt made, cleaned my kitchen, replaced the broken hot water shut off valve under my kitchen sink(yay! no more remembering to turn it back off so the house doesn't flood), finished painting one of the two dressers I'm refinishing as media centers for our tv's, it just needs a coat of poly once it's all dry. It feels so good to get so much done. So thankful for the extra weekend day today that's for sure.
Barbara I love to take my Cameo with me. I don't have a real travel bag I just use a large duffel bag. Fits the Cameo and my laptop and a couple other items. I don't go far and not very often so I don't worry that it's not padded, I just have to be careful. Keep saving your pennies you will love it.
Diana Enjoy your time. I'm certainly envious
Debi Great job on all those cards! Wish I had been on in time to vote for you.
Toni As a parent I'm tired of tests and projects.LOL!
Lindy Glad you and your hubby are alright what a scary accident that must have been. I think California requires the seat to be replaced after any accident, your insurance company will know and they will reimburse you. Here in Nevada it's in crashes over 25mph. When Alison and I were in an accident I had to take her seat in to the insurance company with the receipt for the new one and they cut me a check right there.
Michelle Hope you get things straightened out at school for Sean. Glad you had a nice visit with your brother.
Melanie Hope you feel better!
Well the girls are out of the shower so now I can get in and get this paint off of me. Have a busy day again tomorrow. The girls have to be at school at 7 thenk, I have my church group at 8:30 but I have to leave early Alison's class is going on a field trip and I'm chaperoning. We get back at 12:30 and I have to be in Jordyne's class to help with art class at 1:40. Yikes! I'm going to bed early. Good night everyone. |

Finally got some praise time in and made up through page 2!
Sorry I have not been keeping up with the chat as much as I would like.
Thankfully, the kids seem to be staying healthy after a rough January and beginning of February. And I finally feel like I am catching up around the house.
Haven't scrapped much in February except two dt layouts. So not much to share. Hope to change that tomorrow.
Will be back to chat then! |

Toni, lots of prayers being said for you and the decisions you will soon be making. Hope they will adjust your time and give you enough of a raise to make it worth the drive. Hugs, too.
I was caught up with praise earlier today, but you gals have been so busy. I can't wait to catch up again.
Valerie, your day makes me tired just reading about it. Where do you get the energy?
Melanie, glad you are feeling somewhat better. Hang in there. When is your recital?
I finished the companion page I was working on over the weekend, so here's a 2 pager.

I'll go look at all your layouts and come back to chat tomorrow. No Cubs tomorrow because of our Blue and Gold Banquet on Wednesday.

Hi Everyone!
I am SO far behind with everyone, I'm just going to say 'good luck with jobs and kids, hope you feel better, great job with painting, scrapping and other household chores, I'm glad the concerts went well and that you had a relaxing weekend!' And I'll try to keep up better in the future!
I haven't been very productive lately, but I'll get back to it soon. Instead of doing something useful, today I spent several hours shopping online - something I RARELY do because I like to SEE what I'm buying, not just a poorly taken photo of it. Besides, it takes SO long and can be overwhelming, there is just so MUCH online! But as you know, Js was having a big sale and I bought TONS of embellishments! Now, if they are as good as they looked, I should have plenty to finish my pet album. I can't wait to get my package!
I think if my computer had crashed when I was still dealing with my 'cart' I would have killed myself. But the sale was great and I got shipping for only a penny!
So now I'm all enthused about my pet album again and ready to write more stories and sort more photos.
I hope everyone has a wonderful Tuesday!

Valerie- thanks for the info. We just got home tonight, and haven't dealt with insurance much yet.
We do have AAA but don't know whether they are dealing with the guy at fault or not.
I am not really much better tonight. I think the 2 hr drive home did my neck in...so I will take lots of ibuprofen in a while, and hope for a good rest.

for as much as I could decipher from Teenage communication (one word answers, grunts and shrugs) I think the boys had a good time skiing. They said they were a little sore and Owen caught a cold, but I swear every time they are gone for a few days, when they come home they seem so much older, bigger...can that be true? THey, however, did not bring a single coat home (2 coats, a lined sweatshirt)....argh!
They go to their dad's tonight for the evening, so I'm sending them a list of what they need to bring back. LOL
No science project settled on either...the proposal was due today.
Sun is trying to shine and I'm trying NOT to sit in front of the computer, no matter how comfortable it is to have my heated throw over me, and get some housework organization and cleaning done. I've not kept up with my 15 minutes/day decluttering so it wouldn't hurt to do a little extra this week.
Anyone know how much it cost to have your sparkplugs and wires replaced? My car is missing and I need to have this done.
Have a good day.

There is so much chatter going on that I'm like Cathy - no way to catch up now without writing a novel.
Tina - A new job always takes adjusting to and it has only been a month and a half. Give yourself time.
Toni - I'm so glad for you that J's decided to give you a raise. You didn't sound as if you were expecting that at all. Now to decide whether it's worth it. Good luck with that.

Hi ladies! I don't have a new layout to share yet, but I wanted to thank you all for the kind words about the two I posted recently.
Yes, I am doing double duty with those two. And I have a few coming up where I'm doing triple duty, because both Abigail and her brother James will be in those photos. I don't know what I would do, scrapwise, if I saw more of Abigail and James. I only see them for about a week once a year, so when I see them, it's a very photo intensive time. The rest of the year, I scrap whatever we end up taking pictures of for two books I keep about mine and DH's life (one is general, one is more specifically about things that go on in our city). And I scrap mainly holidays and other important things (like James' birth in Sept. 2012) in both GK's books. Don't most grandparents keep books for their GK's? Especially if they only have two GKs?
Valerie - Congrats on the productive day, it wears me out just reading all you accomplished.
Toni - I haven't followed the chat enough to know if the other job would be something you would like as much as J's, or just something that would pay better. So, if you like working at J's (and I would), I hope it works out for you to stay there.
Debi - Great layout!

good morning. my praisemarker.
Had a good report from the hand therapist yesterday- the range of motion had almost doubled since last week. If only I'd lose lbs from hand therapy, I'd be a size 2 by now. Joey was up at 4am with hurting knees- he's probably on a growth spurt. gave him ibuprofen and he was out in 20 minutes, me, I've been awake since then. I'm already planning a nap into my day.
Nylene- would love to hear about your blue & gold ceremony. they are looking to change ours up but no one has any great ideas.
Ellen- I think it's great you scrap for the grandkids.
Toni- when do you have to make a decision for work?
THeresa- how is work this week?
Michelle- how is your assistant doing? I've been keeping her in my prayers.
OK, need to finish up a few things online and get on with the day. Have a great one!

TAMMY great news about your wrist's progress. Keep up the good work and you'll be back to normal in no time.
I'm totally unmotivated today. Don't want to do anything...and I mean anything. Not eat, not watch movies, not scrap, not housework, not cleaning, not paperwork,...nothing!
So here I surf trying to see if anyone is online. LOL

I am so behind on here! Sorry I've been MIA this month. I guess I've been pretty busy... or when I do have time to sit down, I am scrapping instead of chatting!
Hopefully you all got the new RAK/Contact list okay... Seems like there were some issues with $$ showing up in some of the columns? I tried to fix this, but I don't know... I had just copied information from the last list I had from Jan. Not sure why some of it is showing up funky.
Tammy- Yay for the good report from your hand therapist! That means more scrapping in your future Yucky abut the 4am wakeup call.
Michelle- I know it's silly, but I giggled reading that you guys have KFC there!
Cathy- How fun to treat yourself to some online shopping! I'm with you, I like to see the stuff in person. Sometimes I will go to Archivers just to see the stuff, then buy it online for cheaper
Toni- Sorry you are having issues at J's... but glad they decided to give you a raise. They would be stupid not to! Honestly, I hate working retail. The middle management doesn't know how to treat their employees, corporations don't care about their employees, and customers can be downright mean at times. As much as I am desperate to get a job, I have been avoiding retail. I just hope everything works out for you! Hugs!
Mary Jo- Glad February is turning out better for you!
Valerie- Holy cow, you've been busy! And productive. Good for you!
Debi- I have no idea how much spark plugs + wiring costs. I know my brother has replaced spark plugs himself a few times, so those are pretty simple I'd think. But, sadly, anything on a car seems to be expensive these days!
Nylene- For the birthday column on the RAK list, you might have to change the format to "Text" instead of "Date" or "General." That seems to be the issue I'm having... Even though I changed it in my copy & saved the changes before I sent it out to you guys. I'm not sure what the deal is!
Sherri- Lucky! Hope you enjoyed your day of pampering
Tina- Sorry about the snags with your new job. That would be a hard position to be in - leading people who do not yet trust you. But with time, hopefully it will get better!
Well, we're bracing for a winter storm here that is supposed to arrive sometime in the early morning. Right now, they are saying sleet and then anywhere from 5-12 inches of snow I've stocked up at the grocery store and plan on having a few scrap days! |

Hello all! I finally broke down and went to the dr today. Good news is that it is not the flu but just a really bad cold. Gave me a few things to help. I can say I haven't had this bad of a cold in a LONG time. Better be a long time before I am again.
Thanks for the nice comments about my layouts. To answer a few questions, The music layout is playing piano with my niece not actually one of my lessons. The show choir photos are also my niece's group. I do make one layout a year for my piano recital with a group photo and the program. They are usually pretty boring layouts though.
I was reading some of the thread about the lowest Peanut number. I didn't notice before that the peas have teeth when they are more than ten years. Did you know that? I'm not very observant I guess.
Later all! |

Good evening Sweet Peas!!!
I hope you all are doing well! Life here is going fine. I actually got a couple of LO's done this past weekend, I got PSE 11 this weekend, so I need to mess with it for a bit so that I can get them posted.
Melanie - I hope you feel better soon! Our family has been struggling with all of the respiratory stuff too...I've sounded like I have a serious smokers cough for about a month....it's sooo not cute.
Toni - Yay on getting J's to pay you more. I've been praying for your job situation. I hope that they make it worth your while to work there.
Tammy - I'm sooo glad that your hand is healing up well...that's is awesome!
Well...I'm off to review some notes for my morning meeting.
Have a nice evening!

I did a page for our challenges! I am doing LOAD213, and the challenge today was to use a pocket to hide some journaling or a photo.
I figured that would be a good way to do a page like Jill Sprott did for the Scrap Your Stash video. I wanted to do a red page, but grabbed some of the colors from the inspiration set and then used others. THANK YOU for the color challenge here, I would have never had any idea of how to begin.
Pieces of Me
I am not even going to comment on how long it took me to do this page. Let's just say that Jill Sprott's video was not done in real time. Bwahahahaha! |

Toni - it's great that they offered you a raise at Js. Whether or not you take it, it's always nice to know they thought enough of you to offer.
Monica - the RAK doc opened just fine for me. Thanks for doing that! Were you anywhere near that huge gas explosion?
Melanie - I hope the visit to the doc helps you FINALLY get better!
Katy - I really loved your 'about me' LO. Good job!
Debi - have you found out yet what new spark plugs will cost? I'm impressed that you did three 15 minute sessions - good for you! BTW - what are rice noodles? Are they something healthy?
I never noticed the smiles on the peanuts either! I don't have a peanut, I guess I'll get one after a year? Fun!
I've been a lot more productive today. It helped that I have a friend coming over tomorrow! She's going to help me clip the toenails of all NINE cats! It's something Mark and I just can't seem to do and she's an expert. Anyway, I got some housework done and also worked on my pet album. Didn't do my 15 minutes though...
I'm going to a 'charity crop' at a local school on Friday. I pay for the table, the money goes to benefit the 6th grade field trips. There will be a few vendors there too. I hope a LOT of people show up but last I heard, not that many people had registered. Well, I'll have fun anyway!
We are expecting more snow this weekend, but I don't know how much. I'm ready for spring!
Take care everyone!

Morning all. I think the smiles on the Peas is new. The whole Pea looks different.
Off today. Randy's off today too but we're staying home. Supposed to get freezing rain later today. Stopped and got some more paint so if I can figure out a way to paint all the trim for the ceiling I'm going to do that. (Hard to find a spot to lay wood out to dry.)
I'm off because the Office Manager said that they have to save money so they can't afford to have me work with no Doc in the office (Doc is still on vacation and BD has surgery today). They did let me work Tuesday though so I get 3 days this week instead of 2. I'm off tomorrow because when he first started talking about saving on the budget I volunteered to stay home on the Fridays that I don't have to go to Madisonville (Doc said I had to go there with him). Didn't realize that they would still make me take time off during the same week as well so I'm losing 3 full days pay in a 2 week paycheck this week too. The tech that gets to work today to answer the phones asked if she could call me with questions and I told her sorry but no. I'm not getting to work because they don't need me so they shouldn't have any questions. She needs to call BD for all medical issues. (They usually call me all day when I'm not there.) She, of course, said it will make him mad but that's not my fault. Told her to let the office manager call him then. Also rolled my phone over to the main line so I won't have two days worth of voice messages to deal with. All calls that come to me will be redirected to the main line and they won't be able to leave voice messages.
Melanie, hurry for no flu. Hope you feel better already.
Toni, hurray for an offer for a raise, at least you know they value you.
Tammy, hurray for a good report on your wrist!
Kati, hurray for scrapping!
Had a lot of other hurray's for folks too but a utility truck pulled up in front the house and since I'm still in my pajamas had to make a fast exit and I forget everything else, LOL.
Oh well, I'll just say Hurray for All!!!! |

It's a SNOW DAY!
Pretty sure we have at least 9" now, and they're saying we could get up to 15-18" total. Yikes I'm taking it as a sign to stay in and get my scrap on! So hopefully I'll have lots of layouts to share!
Theresa- gosh, you sure deal with a lot at that doctor's office I don't know how you do it! It would irk me. Bummer about losing so many days. Anyway, I cracked up at your having to throw on clothes - that happens to me all the time!
Cathy- No, I wasn't near the explosion (thank goodness, it would freak me out!). Ironically, I was driving home with my mom and we were admiring the beautiful sunset at that exact moment... kinda odd to think about. Your charity crop sounds fun! Hopefully more people will sign up.
Katy- I'm *trying* to do LOAD, too, at least while I'm unemployed. I've been scrapping up a storm lately... but I find that I have a hard time keeping up with uploading them all! Jill Sprott amazes me - she's my scrap role model
Debi- Thanks for the info about the birthday section of the RAK list! I am going to have to update it again anyway because I got another email this morning about an address change. So I'll be sure to do the edits you explained!
Melanie- Hope you feel better soon! I never noticed the teeth on the Peas, either. How funny! |

Good Morning. I'm on my 4th week now of being back on my meds. Although I'm not fully back to normal, I am experiencing more energy and I can make it up and down the stairs now. I slept on a real bed the other night at my mom's--first time in over a month. I've been sleeping on a reclining love seat as it was too painful to lie flat. Everyday I feel a bit better. It's interesting though as some of the "big pains" are disipating, littlier ones are being noticed. Guess they were masked by the bigger ones. The brain can only handle so much pain at a time, I suppose. Inflammation is going down so now I need to focus on my diet to not aggravate it by eating things I'm sensitive to.
CATHY I'm gluten sensitive if not fully intolerant (still to be determined) and rice noodles (the kind you find in Pad Thai) have no gluten as they aren't made with wheat. I don't think they are any more healthy as they are made with white rice I suppose but it does allow me to have pasta with the kids once in awhile. I can't tolerate regular pastas at all and of course, my kids as most do, love pasta. Usually I make something else for me, but last night I used rice noodles for all of us. It came out pretty good although the rice noodles can be a bit stickier. The fresh garlic shrimp and spinach mixed up in it made it less an issue.
As for Spark Plugs and Wires...the cost of the parts isn't much, but I haven't looked into the labor costs yet. More important expenses are taking my attention at the moment.
I like that idea of buying a table for craft night as a fundraiser...now if you had a LSS near by that you could advertise at to get more participation...
Take photos of your friend clipping the cat's nails (I always have to do my mom's dog's nails) as a page for your pet album -- a feline maintenance page as you will... Nice that she comes over to do that. Cats aren't always the most cooperative for those kind of things.
Stay in and stay warm. make some soup and scrap. Spring will come.
THERESA are you adding new trim to the ceiling? Is that why you need to spread it out to dry? Definitely a lot easier to paint it before it's installed except you may want to fill nail holes and paint those later. You can take 2 chairs cover with old sheet/towels (or if you have it plastic)and plastic underneath and lay the trim across the back of the chairs to paint....and then to dry. Sounds like an ambitious project to me.
I don't know how you have dealt with all the rig-a-ma-roll at that office. It seems so poorly organized. They need your expertise but they don't want to pay you yet they want you to work unpaid from home. Good for you for saying "no" to phone calls. If they truly don't need you, then they need not to rely on you when you are out (especially when it's their choice to have you out). How many days can you LOSE before it becomes unpractical for you to continue to work there? Are you looking elsewhere for a new job as the writing seems to be on the wall that this one is being phased out. I don't know if this is all due to the BD moving into the office, but seems before he came, it was a lot better. Hang in there and don't give them free consultations...good for you for rolling your phone to the mainline. Good thinking. Now enjoy that time out of the office.
Looking a bit gray outside today...wonder if we're expecting rain? Ok I'm done reading threads, leaving praise and now I"m off to do something around the house...what will I start with first? There is always laundry....and unfortunately I have a pile of papers on my dining room table that looks like I'm making a mountain model that I should start to dismantle. Have a great day!

Monica saw you photos on FB, enjoy the snow. Glad you don't have to get out in it. Weather forecast here seems to change by the minute, now they're saying just rain here and sleet/ice further north. Who knows. I'm just glad I don't have to get out in any of it.
Debi, I'm putting molding up on the ceiling, never had it there before. I put plastic over my kitchen table and am painting it there. Once it dries I'm going to put together my new miter saw and figure out how to use it. Then measure, cut and install the border. My brother said he'd come and help but I'm not sure I'm going to let him. I think Randy and I can do it and not have to wait til the weekend. Randy's pretty non-handy around the house but I think he should be able to help with this project and he might even learn something.
As for the office problems, Doc says I'm staying! I am looking elsewhere though. We can afford for me to lose the days if it's just occasionally. Randy said it'd be worth less just to have some free time as long as we stop unnecessary spending which he is willing to do (I rarely do it, it's always him, LOL). There is a lot of crap to deal with where I work, I was blaming it on BD but in reality it is the manager. He lies to make himself look better and you know when you lie, you have to keep it up. He's made it obvious now to all the staff (huge lie in front of everyone in the office the other day to make himself not look bad to HR and everyone heard it) so I anticipate life will get better, they'll stop believing what he tells them and the back stabbing will surely stop. I don't want to cut my nose off to spite my face though. My health has been better since I quit night shift and where I am now I don't have to deal with illness so I don't catch stuff (although the stress level sure has been bad for the last six months). If I go back to the hospital environment, I'll have to go back to night shift again and if I go to another doctor's office it'll be will sick people all the time. There is a doctor here in Greenville that is coming out of retirement that is looking for a nurse but they want to only pay LPN salary (but want an RN) and I can't afford to loose that much money an hour, work longer hours and deal with illness every day. Still hoping for that winning lottery ticket. |

All praised up.
Change of plans today. Couldn't get the darn miter saw figured out, who would have thought the directions would be so hard to read. I'm usually great with directions. Called my brother and he was coming tonight but the weather is just so darn nasty, we're going to wait til tomorrow evening, supposed to be back in the 50's and we can take the saw outside instead of using it in the kitchen--IF I can get the darn thing figured out. |

Hi ladies, this morning I tried posting but was getting an error message. Last two night the same. But I was able to place an order .
Anyhow, I have been very busy at work, working full time then get home and walk for almost 45 minutes, then is dinner time and by the time I finish i 8 I don't have a lot of time to post and for 2 peas to be down well that's just not right.
The trip was amazing, I was so relaxed, had a massage, a facial and pedi and mani it was heaven, it was in the low 60s and we where at the beach just beautiful and the food was amazing. I need to win that lottery I could get use to all that pampering.
Theresa...I tried using the miter thingie and I gave it up. I bought the molding to do Monica's room and it's still sitting in the garage. But looks like your living room will be beautiful soon.
Toni...Glad J is willing to give you that well deserve raise.
I need to get to sleep but first let me post the only 2 la I have created this month. I think I may have done one other. Nothing like January.
Say Cheese
Love is
I will try and spend sometime tomorrow praising I think I work until 2 or 3 not sure.

Good afternoon!
I've been MIA too for a few days. We are getting close to financial year end here and OF COURSE my server will decide now is the perfect time to die. So computer problems all week...
Monica B- LOL. Yes, we have KFC. MacDonalds and Nando's too!!! Though I heard about a francise there called "in and out" that makes burgers? It lead to a lot of joking about what they are saying about the quality of their product
Melanie - I saw that tread too! The toothy peas are cute. I was amazed at how long some people have been around.(That includes you, Nylene). I remembered they brought in the new peas about a year ago, so way before the recent site-change.
Debi- I love rice noodles! Especially with prawns. I have a recipe with mangetout, prawns and peanut-butter sauce. Yum! My kids like them too, so that helps.
I got my long-awaited 2peas box this week Anyone with little boys in their life - you NEED EP Scoot! It is just so gorgeous and versatile. I just want to sit and play with it but don't have the time It will work with anything from school to outdoor fun to whimsical pages. I'm GREEN at how much some of you have scrappexd this month. I'm still busy with my colour challenge page. Or should rather say the page isn't finished - I haven't touched it in 2 weeks, so can't be 'busy' with it.
Hoping to catch up with praise and chat this weekend, but no promises... |

Well my brother came over and said that the instruction sheet on the miter saw was printed wrong, showed me how to lift the blade (so easily it made me ill, LOL) and we went to work. Proud to say I only cut one piece wrong and thanks to his compressor and nail gun we had the molding up in about an hour. Had enough to do the bathroom too, whoo hoo. Have to go get some more calking (hadn't planned on doing the bathroom when I bought it) and then touch up the paint and I'm done.
Probably be a huge photo but here you go:
