Happy Wednesday!
Kelly-I'm so sad you got the bug. These things are so contagious. I hope you are feeling better and better everyday. Last year my husband and I came down with stomach flu on the same day. We were completely disfunctional as parents. I put a few packages of crackers on the table and told my then 4 year old she was in charge of feeding herself and the 2 year old all day. They survived and I guess we did too though I never want to relive that again.
Cindy-I am a mac user so I created a separate iPhoto library for my scrapbook supplies. It took some time to tag all the old supplies but I'm so glad I did. It's easy to keep up with it and I just can't imagine scrapping without that search function now.
Debi & Linda-Wow, you two are on a roll! You're turning out some great pages and keeping lots of memories.
What's everyone else up to these days?

Morning everyone. Since I missed Natl. Pancake Day yesterday, I'll celebrate today by having pancakes for brunch. They're frozen, so all I have to do is plunk them in the toaster. My kind of cooking.
Kelly - So sorry to hear you caught the bug. Prayers my friend.
Pam - Glad to hear you're on the mend. Love you pages, girly.
Nylene - I wanna come make rockets. It sounds like fun.
Debi - I feel your pain.
Cindy - Glad you are NOT sick.
Have a great scrappin day ladies.

Cindy, nice to see that all is well with you. Don't scare us like that!
Pam, glad you are feeling better. I'm sure you are enjoying the birdies.
Kelly, are you doing better? Has Ron taken good care of you? Sending chicken soup.
Debi, sounds like the meds are really helping. Keep it up and don't overdo.
Angie, I introduced Lorn to Facetime and we have had some fun. Can't believe the technology we have, and I hardly know how to use any of it!
Wish I were going to Disney with you. Hope you guys have a wonderful time.
Oops, my timer's ringing..dinner's ready. Gotta run, but will BBL to chat.

Hello, all! Whew! We are getting so chatty it is hard for me to keep up. I skimmed the posts and tried to leave love on all the layouts. Hope I didn't miss anyone!
I had a crazy weekend. It all started when I agreed to work a few hours Saturday to orient the new PT. It started snowing about 20 minutes before I left so I thought I would be fine, but, boy, was I wrong! I had to stop 5 miles from work (20 miles from home) and have my dad come get me in 4-wheel drive. We ended up with about 4 inches of snow! We played all afternoon Saturday and until lunch on Sunday. I spent the rest of Sunday doing layouts(7) for challenges on Scrap Orchard (Scrapper Bowl). I posted them all to the Pokey Peas Challenge, but I will just share a few with you!
Boom!
Buff
Perfect
Great Faces
Hope everyone is having a wonderful February! I hate to drop in and run, but I am exhausted and have a 10+ hour day ahead of me at work tomorrow. Whew! I will be glad when my hubby gets out of school and I'm not carrying all the workload anymore! |
Been there, done that--have the layout!

Whew I got all the tagging done in ACDSee so now I can get back to having fun! I was cleaning my scraproom today as it has been the household dumping grounds-Yes Nylene mine gets to be the same as yours but I do not have scouts! I had toys and toy boxes and a lot of other junk dumped in there. Well no more-if had nothing to do with my hobby it got thrown out the door! LOL Not literally! But it looks good in there. I even have my scraps sorted and put away! I had layouts to put away and you name it! Looks good now. I am behind in all my scrapping-for my classes and PL. Oh well I will get er done!
Deb-glad you are feeling better! Good to hear. Especially with those two boys. My DH had RA also. As does my good friend.
Kelly-are you feling better yet: I sure hope so.
Pam-glad to hear you are dfeeling better, and I am glad you didn't get sick while you were on your trip.
Angi-going to Disneyland????? Those two youngsters will be in heaven. I can't wait to see they layout from this outing!!!
Ami-glad you are ok and didn't get in a wreck. I hate driving in the snow-it is so unknown. You know what you will do but not those other guys-especially the ones who cut you off when you are trying to leave enough room between you & the car in front of you. GRRRRR.
Have a good night all I am going to do a sudoku so I don't scrap all night! |

Good morning everyone! Hope everyone is doing well. Just a quick Hi! and wanted to tell Debi I do not have too many products as I have only been doing digi on a regular basis for about 6 months. I don't have a lot compared to a lot of folks but it semed like I was tagging for days. But I am sure it is going to need refined eventually! |

Good morning and sunny it is....
The birds are fluttering and throwing seed all over as they enjoy the new location for their feeder.. Doesn't take much to make me smile.... lol
Kait stopped by last night, she is working days this week so she had some time... She's a hard dedicated worker, nothing wrong with that!!
No agenda today, just me being me.... Cindy, good that you organized early, now just sit back and accumulate.. I have my stuff, lots of stuff, all in files on an EHD,took me several months to organize and purge but now I can easily find all of it. I have been careful to keep up when I first purchase or get it,then it doesn't pile up.
Well Kelly, hope you are feeling better... you have some more page painting to do.. also.. all those great shots that surround you probably keep you busy.
So I am off to look @ a few galleries and then Steve will be here for lunch. Soon Come pam

Good morning, just want to say there are lots of great layouts posted here so far this month. Are we keeping on pace with last month? We were all pretty productive last month. I won't have weekend scrapping until the 23 and 24 hubby's B-day is this weekend, and then we are going to have the grandgirls next weekend. I am hoping to get some scrapping in during the weeknights but that is always tough for me to do after a long day at work. But hopefully I can at least get stuff prepped so that on the 23rd I can hit the decks running and get some pages together.
Have a wonderful day everyone!

I thought I'd get time to chat today, but no such luck. I needed to spend a couple of hours playing with the newest baby grandson! It always takes precedence over cleaning, organizing and computering.
I am going to a neighbor's in the morning to spend some time scrapping. I'm excited. I just reorganized 3 big containers of scraps and found lots of paper for layouts. I think I can do 5 layouts without cutting into a whole piece of paper...except the background paper.
I also have cut out pieces for my cards for Card Club this month, so I have lots to do.
Cindy, so glad you are busy with scrapping things, even if it's just organizing. Wish we lived close to one another. I know we'd have a great time scrapping together.
Maribeth, glad to know you haven't lost your first of the year mojo. Seems like we get a lot of new members in January and then LIFE gets in the way. Keep up the scrapping.
Amy, your pages are wonderful. You have beautiful children!!
Kelly, Pam, and Debi, I hope you are all feeling well today. It's no fun to be Pokey AND sickie! Hang in there and take it easy.
Linda, keep those pages coming.
Time to fix dinner. I'll try to get back here on the weekend.
Hugs to all.
Have a wonderful weekend, everyone. |

Hope everyone is doing well - cold and gloomy here today - just my kind of day, just wish I was scrapping and not working.
Nylene - I hope I don't loose my mojo. I am planning on a very productive year of scrapping. My head is spinning with ideas - no to implement them.
Catch ya' later......

Hey girls! I am hanging in with this cold. Eating lots of soup and getting lots of rest. This bug is such an inconvience to life and hope it flies away soon. I got scrappin and crafts to get into!
But while resting I have been drawing more. I was practicing how to draw a man's suit. The collar was hard but I am starting to get it now. So I hope to share some of this pics, soon.
I hope the bad weather isn't too bad where you all are. It was storming here earlier and I was glad I wasn't out in it. Whew!
Well, I will be checking back soo. Take care all! |

Hi All, Just a drive-by to say hello. I've been a card making fool. Our card rack at the vet's office is almost empty, so I've made about 50 cards so far. It gets hard to come up with new ideas. I will post some more trip pages tonight. Take Care and have a great evening. |

I'm EXHAUSTED. Very happily exhausted. We're just finishing up a family vacation to Disneyland & California Adventure. I took pictures galore!!! Start linking me in to all your fav Disney theme pages...I'm going to need 'em.
Kelly--yes, I know that bad weather you referred to. We got stuck in it unprepared & had to leave the park to dry off & start again. No complaints, though. The past few days have been lovely! Glad to hear your health is not keeping your creativity down.
MUST SLEEP. Good night,all!

Linda, do you sell cards at the Vet's office? I can't imagine doing 50 cards. I find it hard to do 9 cards a month for my Card Club. I'm sure they are beautiful. Post some for us.
Pam, this made me chuckle! good that you organized early, now just sit back and accumulate..
That's kind of what all of us do, digi or paper...just wish I were MORE organized! Any sign of Sylvester?
Angie, I am so glad you had a great time at Disney. Did the storm remind you of the day we spend in pouring rain in SeaWorld? Can't wait to see all the pictures and talk to the kids. Glad you are home safe and sound.
Debi, $50 is a great win. How nice of you to take your mom to Bingo. I hope you get a lot done with the boys gone this weekend. I'm sure your house seems so quiet!!!
Maribeth, I'm loving seeing your comments all over the General Scrapping threads. It's inspiring to see your enthusiasm. Keep it up.
Kelly, I hope the soup is healing you. DH just asked me to make homemade chicken soup today. How I wish I could hand you a bowl. I'm glad your craftiness continues through the illness.
Cindy, I can't believe you have organized all your digi elements...because I know you have a lot! That will make it so much easier to scrap. I need to organize my cut-files. I started making and downloading them when I didn't know where to save them. They are now all over my computer, but little by little I'm getting control of them. At least I don't have to hunt for an hour to find the cut files for my Cubs Arrow of Light board, and their Heavy Shoulder Awards (any more).
We did something crazy yesterday. DH and I were feeling housebound and he had lacquered his woodworking projects in the basement and we were getting high from the fumes. We decided to pick up 2 DGD from school and take them on the train to SLC for dinner. When I called to ask their mom, she wanted to go too. She has a 4 mo. old baby so we weren't sure she'd want to have him out. Just as we got to the train it started snowing like crazy. We debated, but decided to go. It was a frivolous trip, but was their first time on a train. We were a bit cold, but has so much fun. The girls want to do it again.
DH had opened the back door to air out the fumes and forgot to shut it when we left. We were half way to Salt Lake before he remembered. Thank heavens for good neighbors who were willing to run shut and lock it. Nothing like leaving town with the back door wide open!
Sorry for the long post! I have finished 2 pages. I'll post them later.

Hello Ladies,
Hope everybody is doing what they want to do today! Whatever that is.
Nylene - Have fun on your outing, love your pages will go praise after I post this. And yes, I have been a prolific poster lately.
Debi - Quiet day, those are really nice.
Well even though it is hubby's birthday and I didn't think I was going to get to scrap I have actually been quite productive, of course I can't post because I print the photos after I create the layouts, but I already sent my order to Persnickety Prints and they are fast so I will be able to post them for sure by next weekend - YAY. Also hubby helped me do a little maintenance on my cutting machine (Pazzles). Now I am off to do some more creating.

Hi everyone! I guess I'm not just a pokey pea when it comes to scrapbooking, I'm a pokey poster too.
I'll just say hello. Looks like everyone has been busy. Hope everyone is on the mend and feeling better.
I think I've mentioned before that this is the busy season at my work (tax season). I've been back to work since my surgery and working 50 hrs a week. So, haven't really felt like scrapping or doing much once I get home.
Plus, we had some major plumbing issues (one last month in the master shower - had to call a plumber) and just had one yesterday in dh's office. He was laying down new baseboards and accidentally nailed a fire sprinkler system line. Luckily I heard what sounded like water and mentioned it to him but I guess he had done it Thursday night. Yikes! Crossing our fingers he fixed it properly.
I haven't done much scrapping since all the CHA challenges but you gals seem like you've been busy!
Just a shout out to Kelly - loving your handpainted pages. They are beautiful!
and to Nylene - love those darn marionettes. They are so cute!
and to Linda - great travel photos!
and to Debi and Pam - some beautiful digi layouts. Really enjoyed looking at them!
and to Angie - love your grandfather and grandson layout, especially the journaling.
Hope to chat with you all soon.

Maribeth you need to go to your account, then click on the tab public information. At the bottom of the page it says edit signature, click there and at the bottom of the box you can add links-you have to type the lowercase letters url inside of these brackets [ ] then your link, then /url inside of another pair of brackets at the end of the link. . If I show you it will not show you and become a link. for example [error_in_url]
Hope that helps. |

Good morning and Monday it is....
Lots of windy weather here.... and.... Sylvester is home. Was peaking in my window when I got up... promptly ate a lot, bawled first like he was impatient, and now he is sleeping in his little bed in the scrap room, just behind my chair. He looks ok,slightly dirty face but otherwise he looks intact. Wouldn't it be fun to know the story!
Steve will stop by for lunch. Matt was over for Sunday dinner and a visit, then Robin stopped by last pm. Good to see them all.
I have been doing some challenges at another site this past week,so that kept me busy. I feel like I am in a rut with my pages,so the new focus is going to be change up a bit. I would love for the weather to improve,so that I could go out photographing, like I love.
Well, hope you are all healthy, safe and having fun. Soon come pam

Well, I thought I was keeping up with our Pokey Peas but I just found a bunch of layouts that I missed. Sorry, gals, not trying to ignore you.
I have all the vacation photos uploaded on my computer now. The grand total: 276 photos for 3 days in Disneyland. No wonder my daughter said a few times, "No. I don't want to take a picture." And my response? In my happiest tone and a biggest smile... "Too bad." *click* We really had a great time.
Gotta run--lots of catching up to do. Keep posting those amazing pages! |

Cindy, thanks for giving Maribeth instructions about her signature. You are our resident "how to" person on this site. I love what you are doing with your digi layouts. Those 1978 girls are so adorable. You really did them justice!
Maribeth, hope your DH had a happy birthday. Hope you can get you links into your signature.
Pam, so glad Sly has returned. I know he keeps you company when he's not off on his adventures. He probably really missed you while you were gone and was just punishing you! Isn't it nice to have family around to drop by. I love it when my kids drop by.
Angie, don't listen to Debi! You HAVE to scrap all 276 photos so grandma can enjoy the trip with you!! Well, scrap a bunch of them anyway.
Debi, did you ever find the DVD? I hated it when something would come up missing that I thought I'd returned. It was usually found under a bed! Glad you had a nice visit with your mom.
Anne, it's nice to see your cute avatar pop up. We know you are busy this time of year. Just drop by when you can. You scrapped enough in Jan. to cover you for the next 3 months of Pokey Peas!
Kelly, how are you feeling? Hoping that the chicken soup is helping. Have you been able to do more drawing?
Well, I need to get things ready for Cubs tomorrow. I'm hoping the snow will melt off the parking lot of the church so we can shoot our rockets that we made last week. We also have to make the invitations for our Blue and Gold banquet. Should be a no-stress day! We are then taking DGS and family to dinner for his 14th B-day. When did he get so old?
Speaking of old....our oldest granddaughter is 18 and is a senior in H.S.
These pages are about her and her H.S. Choir. She has grown up so fast.
Carols & Confections
Be back later in the week. |

I tried my first digi template today. It wasn't as easy as I expected. Not that the process was hard but the template is a little out of my usual style and I was struggling to choose the right patterns & colors. Then PSE shut down on me and I lost it all. Surprisingly, I'm not sad about it.
Hope your scrapping today is going a little better than mine.

Hi all! I have been sick and under the weather! Whew! But I am hanging in. Having done much of anything but taking care of myself. I do hope to try to have fun making at least one valentines card for the hubby. I love making cards for this holiday but a little sad I am taking a break this year. Plus, I never got the right pp and embellies to create with. So if I end up making one for Ron that will be great.
Glad to see you all crafting and chatting it up. Thanks for all the well wishes and chicken soup. I needed it!
Will be back soon. Hugs to you all! |

ANGIE I hate when PSE closes unexpectantly. Happens to me all the time. I try to remember to save as I go, but sometimes I get so engrossed in my process I forget and that's usually when PSE dies. I hear the newer versions save your project before it crashes. That would be a nice option.
KELLY sorry you are still feeling poorly. Hope you feel well enough to get that Valentine done for your dh.
Hey I was wrong...one of my cards (Happy Joy Joy) made it to the finals. If you want to vote for me (or someone's elses card if you like it better) you can
Vote once a day through 2/15

Woot Hoot! Four boxes at the post office for me tonight. Can't wait to go open them. First I have to do an hour on the treadmill (where I am posting from right now) then dinner, dishes and a bath and then I can open my goodies. I hope one is my prints so I can post the layouts that I did earlier this month, and are just waiting for photos.
Oh, my - I forgot to say hello to everyone. Hello everyone!

Maribeth, what self-restraint you have to not rip into those boxes. Hope you get your prints so you can scrap, scrap, scrap.
Kelly, I'm so sorry you have been so sick. The flu has really hit hard this year. Take it easy. Wish I were closer to bring you Valentine chicken soup. I hope you feel up to getting Ron's card made. I know he'll take it late if aren't feeling up to making it.
Anj, sorry about your Photoshop problems. Just chalk that up to practice! Next time it will be easier.
Yesterday we shot rockets in the snow! It wasn't snowing much, but I had boys without coats ("no, I'm not cold. I never wear a coat!" It was 27 degrees. We lasted about 20 minutes and about 10 or so turns each and called it a day. I hope the Cub Moms aren't mad at me, but I warned them it would be a cold day. Silly boys!
I'm hoping to do a little scrapping tonight and maybe tomorrow. I think I really have the scrapping bug right now. Just need to sit down and do it.
Val, are you out there somewhere? We are missing you. Hope you aren't still lost in the moving boxes.
I hope you each have a Happy Valentine's Day! |
