Just visit the website, put in your email address
and it will check their list. All of our email
addresses came up clean!

ETA: Actually now that I look at it more closely,
it's a list of email addresses that might be compromised
that it is checking for your email address. Still good
information to know!

ETA Again: Here is the site I got the link from.
I do not think it is a scam as some posters allege.

Honestly I would not be giving my info to a site like that. Just think if they got hacked, it would be the perfect list of emails to go for. No thank you. JMO.

Did you look at the link? You just put in your email
and they check their list. They don't save your email
address. It was recommended by Kim Komando and she
vets all the sites she recommends.

I meant for the monitoring. But that is just me.

Best thing to do it change your password on occasion and don't use the same one for everything.

Oh, I would never sign up for any monitoring.
I just wanted to see if my email addresses had
been compromised ~ every day you're hearing of
companies having their clients/customers
data stolen.

How do I know this website is just there to collect email addresses to make them compromised?

"You have just been hacked" is what it should read when you try this. It's a scam, do not try this at home.

Yes, try it at home.

Here's the site I got the recommendation from:

A little googling shows several reputable sites recommending this, it doesn't look like a scam.

I don't necessarily trust or like Kim Komando (I think she's a shill for her sponsors), but the website is legit.

She gives plenty of advice and shares lots of FREE
sites. If that is shilling, shill away.
