I have a Tonic guillotine that I always take with me to crops. I've had it for at least 4 years and it's never needed sharpening. Highly recommend it! |

I have a little Tonic guillotine that works well for me. I'm too much of a fly by the seat of my pants kinda gal to plan things to take to a crop, so I rarely scrap any place but home. I used to lug everything with me "just in case." | |

Tonic would be a little pricey for me, it wounds like you don't scrap away from home often.
I get great result from Fiskars and just use their lifetime guarantee to replace the cutting wire that started to frey. Great customer service! |

Fiskars girl (again) here too! I have had about 5 different trimmers over the years, and just purchased another Fiskars. Mine also has the guide wire, but I wasn't aware that they would replace it if it frayed. Honestly, it's so light and convenient that I have packed up my AC and my MM trimmers, and vowed to buy another one just like it when it breaks! I used a coupon and I think it was around $15. |

hahahaha The times I went somewhere else and scrapped I'd bring my office type guillotine trimmer in a tote bag.
Now I have a Fiskars procision but I like never go anywhere. |
