Good morning, PEAps! I went ahead and did a Sat/Sun thread since it's Super Bowl weekend and maybe some of us are not football fans.

I am home alone today and ready to scrap!! I have finished layouts to photograph and put in my albums and lots of layouts to finish!

And, I just might need to make some page kits. I think I found me a Spring Fling retreat in March!

You scrapping today? Are you with me?

I'm with ya today and will be Flinging with you in March too! SO EXCITED!!!

I'm scrapping today. Tomorrow we are having my BIL/SIL over for the Super Bowl. We will watch the pre-game stuff, kick off and then everyone will leave. We're all light weights and go to bed early - BIL gets up at 4 a.m. so late evenings on a Sunday just don't work for him. They are perfect for us to hang with - I'm such an evening light weight....as PennyScraps and Pinseeker can attest too.

I have tons of pages that need just that 'little bit' added to them, some journaling and they filed away in albums. That's my goal today, to wrap those up. It's grey and cloudy here, perfect day to scrap!

I like the "little bit" pages. Man, you can sure feel productive when you can whip out a bunch of finished pages.

I need to get my Cameo plugged in and download my latest purchases. Mama's got game!

And, yes, there is no greater a champion in the evening light weight category than Scoobers. And she will sure bust you the next AM if you are not up with the sun with her. Not to worry, I can burn the candle at both ends for a weekend every now and again.

I am scrapping, just finished one layout to fulfill one of the CHATTY SCRAPPERS prompts. Will be photographing and posting later when the sun fully comes up and I have some good natural light.

We will be watching Super Bowl as well, so I don't know how much I will get done tomorrow, but hoping for a productive weekend.

Good morning! Penny, can you send some of your energy my way, please? lol If not, hoping this coffee will do the trick.

I believe I shall scrap the day away. It's so cold here today, we may even get some snow! I need a good snow picture, we didn't get any to speak of last year.

I hope to get a little scrapping done while hubby makes rounds this morning; then, off to get a new computer printer after lunch. I have some great printables but my current printer is giving up the ghost (printing streaky, inconsistent colors, etc. despite doing all the head cleaning/nozzle checks/etc.). As a bonus...it will now be wireless! No running up and down the stairs, climbing over the baby gate (to keep the bulldog off the steps) with the laptop in my hands. I will also get one that prints photos from my phone, which is an added bonus.

I also have a spring retreat planned but it's not until the end of April so I have plenty of time to get kits together, etc.

Good Morning! I hope when I go sit at my desk, Mr Mojo sits down next to me. I haven't seen him all week.

We usually go to a Superbowl party but I said "no" this year so we will be home watching. I'm putting off my errands until tomorrow afternoon so I can get a page or two done today.

Good morning all! I'm here scrapping away.

It's snowy and blowy and a balmy 16 degrees here (wind chill is -2), so I'm happy to be in my space creating away.

I just finished a layout, and I'm off to do some clean up then I'll start with some snow pictures I took after Christmas this year.

As cold and snowy as it is, I actually kind of like it - it's perfect scrapping weather!

Good morning from cloudy southern California! I may get more done during the Super Bowl tomorrow than today but I plan on scrapping sometime this weekend. I have more pages to add titles, journaling, and little bits to and plenty of pictures to scrap.

But first, my 2012 taxes are calling since I have to finish filling out the FASFA. Dd got her second college acceptance yesterday.

Good morning, all! It is a bright sunny day here (and hopefully it has changed to that where you are, Scoobers! I know we aren't too many miles apart!) I am going to finish printing the journaling and titles for the 2010 albums. My fingers are crossed to get it completed today.

I am not a huge football fan, but I have spent lots of years grading while I listened! Tomorrow will be scrapping during the game and watching the commercials!

May I do a slight hijack (?) as someone who has never been to a retreat, palooza or anything of the sort...tell me what makes them awesome...not for me to plan one, but for me to step out and actually attend. Thanks!

Morning all! Just got done working and have some errands to run but hopefully I will be able to get my scrap on later today.

I made 16 double layouts yesterday using my new downloaded sketches!! Best part, I used my a stash, a lot of it! I used old BG life of the party and then one of my favorites, MME miss Caroline howdy doody. I also was able to get a ton of use out of the 6x6 pads I had for both of those collections! What I wasn't able to incorporate into my pages, I put on the side and will use it to cut titles and embellishments for those pages with my Cameo.

I also made a list yesterday of the pages I will need for my 2012 photos. Wow, I'm probably going to have to buy a few more boy collections. I knew I took a lot of photos of my grandson but wow! We had a lot of firsts last year!!

For me, it's a long stretch of two things:
1. Scrapping time - with no pressure to do laundry, cook, etc.
2. Girlfriend time - need I say more?!

I've also combined attending a scrap event with some fun sight seeing. I'm attending a retreat in March with Penny and on my way, I'm going to stop and see a place that I've wanted to see for years.

Other times, I've flown to a city I've never been and stayed extra to sight see.

We need to meet up at Archivers some weekend. I know another Pea reached out that lives in the area asking about getting together. It would be a fun time!

Okay gals, I completed two more layouts!! I just love that howdy doody line and I cannot believe how many layouts I have been able to get from it! I have a few more sheets to go and I'll finish up those this evening hopefully!

Off to the mall now after a coffee break to get dd a suit for next weekend and then home to scrap again.

The next collection pack I'm going to tear into has to be boy themed so I can get through some of the pics I have of my grandson! I'll be working on boy pages for a long time!

My scrap day was interrupted by a snow day! I got some great photos, made a tiny snowman, had a snowball fight, made homemade hot chocolate, and had a fabulous morning!

Now we're done with it, and I'm getting ready to scrap, I hope!

Scoobers is right - it's all kinds of fun. A simple allegory is dinner. You can make it at home all day long, but isn't going out on a splurge dinner at a nice restaurant with some good friends really worth it once in awhile? I had stopped "going out" to crop until I went to Palooza and met those great MO gals and now we're buds. I "go out" here in TX with my mom and sisters and cousins. And I'm happy to stay home, too, but having an event to look forward to is fun. And, man, you can't beat the boost it does for you - gal time and super productive fun time. It's a win-win.

I hope when I go sit at my desk, Mr Mojo sits down next to me. I haven't seen him all week.

Marianne, did you find him? He has been hanging out at my house a lot, so I will have to share him, I guess. Hope you are getting some good stuff done.

crop at Michael's with my sister.

Family crop time is the best, Merrilee. Hope you have a great time. I have had my sisters and mom here for many weekends and we meet at each other's homes, too, and sometimes at little houses in between.

a balmy 16 degrees here

Cindy, I'm glad your AVATAR is smiling, because THAT weather would not make ME smile! It's clear skies, sunny and 61 here. I even sat out on the back porch for an hour, chatting with my mom. I will admit it - I am ready for a good, long spring. Or more of a winter. This in between stuff is for the birds.

Will be photographing and posting later when the sun fully comes up and I have some good natural light.

Maribeth, this is what I am about to segue into. It's such an ordeal sometimes and I have to do it while the sun is up! And heavens knows I don't see that sun Mon-Fri right now.

I have several pics already laying on my desk that I would love to get scrapped today or tomorrow if possible.

Stephanie, fresh pictures always motivate me a LOT. Hopefully they will you, too!

Going to stop at lunch time-ds has a double header baseball game

Sounds cold!! We'll be here when you get back!

I have to finish filling out the FASFA.

Jeanne, gross! Why did you have to remind me! I need to finish that soon, too. And I won't even think about taxes yet. I did file ODS 1040EZ Tuesday and will do YDS 1040EZ soon.

I'll be working on boy pages for a long time!

Mari, it's not a bad gig. So many fun boy papers out there. That EP Scoot is adorable.

My scrap day was interrupted by a snow day!

Sherry, your dream came true! How fun is that. Now get some cocoa! The last time we had a great big snow, I was home from work for 2 days and I actually scrapped that snow fun the day I took the pictures!

Woke up with a headache today.

Andrea, you need to go with a better brand of tequila! I remember your hangover from last week. Hope you are doing better. I know you get your scrap on quick and are fast, so you will probably pass us all.

Okay - I've caught up with everyone. Now off to photograph some layouts. I did brew myself a rare after lunch cup of coffee. I'll admit - I'm dragging!

I have scrappy ADD today... I sat down to scrap and decided to go to the gym instead, then I stopped by the grocery store. lol

I am all over the place - I think I'll shower, put my pj's back on and perhaps my mojo will return.

Glad to hear some of you are being productive!

I'm here!! Been working on a LO a little in between laundry and peaing, but I'm going to sit down and get serious now.

Penny, where is this Fling happening? Sounds intriguing.
I agree with what some of the other girls said that crops/retreats are awesome because they are long stretches of time devoted to nothing but scrapping, and since I have to leave my little scrappy hole, I'm usually more prepared and can skip the step where I figure out what I want to do, and I'm much more productive. Plus girl talk, and scrap talk with people whose eyes don't start to glaze over like DH's does.

Mari - Baby boy pages are the best. Enjoy!

Too funny, that made me smile.

I was just wondering if anyone had an idea for how to incorporate an xray into a lo? It's larger than 12 X 12, but I could cut it down smaller. Trying to decide whether to put it on white card stock, or maybe make a frame, so that just the xray shows in the page protector?

Has anyone ever used an X-ray on a page?

Well, I've done nothing scrappy but I did get the new wireless printer up and running on three of four computers. My hubby's is so old, I don't think it is capable of being connected to a wireless printer although it IS capable of using wireless internet. Hmmm....any thoughts?

how to incorporate an xray into a lo

Can you cut it and have it bridge two pieces of card stock? Or can you have a color copy made at a reduced size?

Penny, where is this Fling happening?

Missouri!

I got all my LO's photographed and about half of them slipped into page protectors. Have to break - we have some friends coming over for dinner. I hope I am not done for the day. I really want to get back in here and watch another episode of Downton Abbey and scrap some more.

Well, I made it to the mall, bought my youngest daughter some really cute, and inexpensive, clothes at forever 21, including a dress. It is so hard to get a Tom-boy in a dress! Had to compromise so she gets to wear a cardigan on top over it. Oh well. Couldn't find a suit in her size so at least I found a dress.

Unfortunately, I also came down with a killer headache, I guess from some stores being too hot and some too cold and ended up taking a 2 hour nap!

Your mr. Mojo is absolutely not at my house right now, he really must be at Penny's! Hoping to at least get a few more layouts done before bed.

Penny, it is our first time filling it out and I'm totally stressed that we won't qualify for anything after all of this paperwork. On top of that, we never do our taxes this early, so that is stressing me out, too. Aaack!

I really need to finish this so I can have some calm, creative time tomorrow.

Carry on, you creative peas. My pea break is over - back to the taxes and FASFA.

That would probably work, hadn't thought of that. It's been so long since I cut photos and put them on 2 sides.

Truthfully, it's just immobilized me. I just can't think! I'm also to the point where I'm going to scrap after it, and then come back. But this gives me an idea to try out.

My back is tired! I think I need Penny's chair! I seem to stand the whole time I scrap.

I finished all of the journaling and titles for 2010. Now I need to:
wipe the photos
put page protectors on the pages
scrap three full pages that are missing
clean the mess that is now my scrapping space

I am so happy to finally have this done. I have been here all day with the exception of a short lunch and eating the delicious dinner my DH made. I think this list may wait until tomorrow.

I am so glad so many of you are being productive!

Between yesterday and today I managed to use 10 sheets of MME Miss Caroline, Howdy Doody and turn it into 13 layouts! I used everything including the scraps which I made flags and banners out of.

I now have them tucked away in a box for future use with the matching 6x6 pad that I will use to make embellishments and titles!

Now to start on some of those boy pages!

I wish I could scrap tomorrow night instead of watching the Super Bowl. Maybe I can get out of watching it

I didn't do much today, just picked out papers for a page and cut letter for the title with my Slice. It will probably come together pretty quickly tomorrow or some time next week now that I've got those steps done. I'll just need to keep my shoes on and "keep the cows (calves?) in the barn" so I can get my scrap on during the weeknights

So jealous of you ladies who got some scrapping done today. I'm off to bed so I can get up EARLY and maybe do some myself.

I'm finally ready to jump in this evening! I got a bit done during DS's nap (organized months 3-5 into different style divided page protectors for his PL-style baby album).

We attended one of his friend's bday parties this evening, so a later bath/bedtime than usual. But I'm ready to make some more progress now!

Anyone else still scrapping?

on the embossing folders .I have changed them 3 times lately but I think this is going to work better for me .I have had them in a old woodbox like a carpenters tool box with a handle the handle bothered me so then I put them in the case that AC moore has for them most don't fit so I went to the dollar store and looked at their plastic containers and didn't find what I wanted then I thought I have a lot of containers that stack that people use in their garages that are blue .They are bins and they stack and are the perfect width .Woo hoo .My son gave them to me years ago .They are brand new ones .I have small ones and big ones .So I am using the big one I will take a picture later and post .I also did a page in my art journal and a cut a few things out .when I did the title on one page I thought boy is this time consuming .I cut out the many faces of Vayda and double stacked them .I need to work on some cards but I am not as good at card making .I prefer scrapbooking .I have a ton of stamps and dies and cricut so I have a lot of stuff to play with .Have fun .Maybe next time I should write a book

I got a couple pages finished last night that I'm hoping to post later. Have to get my bathrooms cleaned and some laundry done first - stopped for a quick lunch, and thought I'd see what you guys were doing.

I might have gotten more done but my silhouette was giving me fits last night.... paper would not stick to the mat. It would seem like it was stuck good but as soon as it started cutting it would be moving all over - grrr.... Maybe time for a new mat?

What are y'all doing for the superbowl? Anything? I'm just going to have it on here in the background and hopefully be scrapping.

I now have them tucked away in a box for future use

Mari - I don't understand... you finished 13 layouts but you're not going to use them right now?? Or they just need titles and embellishments???

Happy Sunday, all! The snow is beautiful here (It is really our first one of the year.) although I think it may be melted by tomorrow! We have been to church, lunch, and the grocery store. Yummy appetizers are planned, laundry is in, and I am ready to clean up the mess I made yesterday and get on to finishing up the project to do list.

It is good to see you all here!

I'm going to have a houseful of teenagers tonight for a Superbowl party. I've got all the food done or at least ready for the oven, so I'm going to get a little scrapping in before they all pile into my basement.

I do love it when all the teenagers come to our house. My scrap area is in the basement, so I won't be able to scrap during the game.

Go Ravens!!!!

Probably, I hate the silhouette mats, they seems to lose their sticky quickly. I've even tried to use washi on the edges but it still messes up the design in the middle. I switched to a cricut mini(same size as my SD) mat and it works extremely well! I know the expression mats work really well with the cameo, if that's what you have.

But first, my 2012 taxes are calling since I have to finish filling out the FASFA. Dd got her second college acceptance yesterday.

OMG Jeanne...me too! First, congrats to your daughter. What is her first choice college? My daughter said if $$$ was no object and she knew she would be admitted she would choose Columbia in NYC. She has gotten two state university acceptances, one with a VERY nice scholarship, so we will see. Anway, in addition to FAFSA we also have to fill one out called CSS (from the college board) used by some schools in addition to the FAFSA. We just filled everything out based on 2011 and will update with 2012 when the taxes are filed, hopefully this week. We don't do our own taxes but the accountant who does now has all the necessary paper work so then it's just a matter of linking with the IRS website! UGH.

I completed a layout about my bulldog Boo Radley last night; hope to get to the scrap room later this afternoon and move on to birthday layouts. I will also be watching the big game...go RAVENS!!

I cleaned my scrap area a little but then decided to scrap instead of cleaning anymore so I have now gotten 2 layouts done. Now I guess I will clean my mess and get started on another one. My kids are watching movies and DH is working so I hope to get a few more finished today.
